Nick Rivera 2018 6’6 wing High School: St. Raymond HS - improved shooter. Good release with 3pt range. Shows the ability to shoot off the dribble and screen. Average handle. Long arms. Can fill the passing lane. Needs to get better defending on the perimeter.


Marquis Nowell 5’8 point guard High School: The Patrick School - quick with the ball. Can shoot and be a play maker. Good court vision. Good Passer. Needs to be more consistent with his outside shooting and limit some turnovers

Archbishop Molloy vs Our Savior Lutheran


Posh Alexander 2020 5’9 point guard High School: Our Savior Lutheran - good handle. Can create for himself and others off his dribble. Good at driving the ball to the basket. Good court vision and passes. Plays hard. Needs to work on his shooting.

Christ The King vs The Patrick School


Joel Soriano 2019 6’9 center High School: Archbishop Stepinac HS - runs the floor. Can rebound. Has a good vertical which allows him to get put backs and block shots. Average footwork in the post. Needs to work on his strength and finishing over defenders

Bishop Loughlin VS Iona Prep
Christ The King VS Our Savior Lutheran


Bryce Wills 2019 6’6 wing/small forward High School: Iona Prep (NY) - improved handle. Can handle the rock as a point forward. Long athletic frame. Can get to the basket. Has 3pt shooting ability. Good Passer. Needs to be a better post defender.


Richie Springs 2019 6’9 center High School: Bishop Loughlin (NY) - can protect the basket and block shots. Can grab rebounds. Average with his offensive skills. Needs to work on his stamina and strength in the post.


Kofi Cockburn 2019 6’11 center High School: Christ The King (NY) - can block shot and grab rebounds. Strong in paint when attacking the rim. Improving on his mid range abilities. Needs to work on defending the pick and roll action.


Jared Rhoden 2018 6’6 wing High School: Our Savior Lutheran (NY) - good in transition. Can get above the rim with his athletism. Effective with his dribble. Needs to play harder and work on his shot


Monday, June 19


Today was the first day of The Entainers Basketball Classic. It also marked the first time the tournament will be played without its founder Greg Marius who recently passed away. He will definitely be missed, but his spirit will forever live on.


As always the competition was like fire. These are the top players from the first day of action.


Stepinac VS Cardinal Hayes
The Patrick School VS Raney


RJ Davis (2020) 6’0 point guard High School: Stepinac HS (NY) - good player. Has everything you want in a point guard. Good speed and handles. Streaky shooter but can drive the lane. Can score the ball. Needs to get stronger and limit turnovers


Xavier Wilson (2018) 6’7 small forward High School:Stepinac HS (NY) - all around team player. Works hard and hustle. Good turn and face shot at 15ft. Needs to be a better 3pt shooting


Scottie Lewis (2019) 6’5 wing High School: The Ranney School (NJ) - athletic player. Gets out in transition with or without the dribble. Plays above the rim. Can be a good defender. Decent passer. Needs to be a better shooter


Al Dawes (2019) 6’1 point guard High School: The Patrick School (NJ) - good with his dribble. Can get past his defender. Good hesitation dribble drive in the lane. Nice floater. Decent mid range game. Needs to improve his shooting coming off pick n roll.


Bryan Antoine (2018) 6’9 High School: The Raney School (NJ) - good footwork in the post. Shows the ability to have a decent dribble. Good rebounder and post defender. Can block shots. Needs to work on his perimeter defense.
