2022-23 Northfield Mount Hermon Season Preview
Northfield Mount Hermon School is coeducational boarding school central Massachusetts. Over the years, the school’s basketball program has been at another level in placing it players into the nation’s high academic colleges. This past graduating class, after making it to the Nation Prep School Championship finals, ended up placing 14 players onto college teams (that is not a typo!). The program is a mainstay of the NEPSAC AAA Division.
Mike Shelton is the new head coach for 2022-23, stepping into the very large shoes of Hall of Famer, John Carroll, who stepped down in March. Shelton has hit the recruiting trail hard to keep the momentum going, and as you can see below, his results have been impressive. He should have the college coaches following their well worn paths to NMH’s Open Gyms this fall.
