Jersey #2 Shaun Peterson (2023) 6’4 shooting guard, Academy Charter School, AAU Team: Rising Stars - Peterson is a great on-ball defender and a high energy player. He has both the mid-range and the pt shot, but he likes to go to the basket off of the dribble…no ball-screen necessary. Peterson is very athletic, a former football player, and is very coachable. 3.2 gpa. 

 

Jersey #3 Jaylen Savage (2022) 6’2 guard, Alexander Hamilton High, AAU Team: Chris Ward Basketball - Savage is a gifted multi-sport athlete (football and baseball as well) who brings great court awareness, savvy and grit to the court when playing. He can be an elite level defender, his length and athleticism help him get steals and deflections. Offensively, he is adept at getting by the first defender, slashing through defense and finishing in a myriad of ways. Savage can play either guard position and is developing as an outside shooter. 3.4 gpa. 

 

Jersey #4 Dylan Veillette (2024) 6’5 forward, Ridgefield High (CT), AAU Team: High Rise Elite (Jean-Baptiste) - Veillette is a force in the paint. Offensively, he can play the post or operate from the elbow. He has the ability to shoot the mid-range jumper or drive to the basket. Defensively he is very strong, and is an active shot contester. He is also a strong and aggressive rebounder. 

 

Jersey #6 Nasir Pettigrew (2024) 5’11 guard, King School (CT), AAU Team: PSA Cardinals (Forde) - Pettigrew was a starter and key contributor as an eight grader playing varsity for his prep school. He is an aggressive scoring wing guard with a nice mid-range game. He is at his best attacking the rim in the half court and in transition. He can shoot the long ball, and his range will only expand as he matures in his high school years. He plays great defense and is a disruptive pest on the ball.

 

Jersey #10 Jayden James (2023) 6’5 wing, Archbishop Molloy High, AAU Program: Team NYC (Francois) -  James is a guard that makes good decisions when handling the ball. He is aggressive when driving to the basket. He makes a lot of hustle plays and looks to crash the boards when it comes to rebounding. Loves to run on the fast break.

 

Jersey #11 Charlie VonOehsen (2022) 5’10 guard, King School (CT), AAU Team: High Rise (Jean-Baptise) - VonOehsen is a solid all around shooter. He has good court vision and a variety of ways to get passes to open teammates. He is also a skilled dribbler and uses that to create his own shot or to get others open. He can play both the point or the wing. 3.5 gpa

 

Jersey #12 Anthony Stennett (2024) 6’1 wing, Archbishop Molloy High, AAU Team: Long Island Lightning - Stennett is a long, lanky, lefty slasher. He has a nice mid-range game and can get to the rim and finish. Also due to his length and athleticism has the ability to defend multiple positions.  3.4 gpa.

 

Jersey #20 David Melson (2024) 6’0 shooting guard, Fairfield Warde High (CT), AAU Team: DTX (Taylor) - Melson is an elite shooter with unlimited range. He has a quick release and plays with a very high basketball IQ. He see’s the floor well, and creates opportunities for his teammates. 

 

Jersey #21 Daniel Acosta (2022) 6’1 small forward, King School (CT), AAU Team: High Rise Elite (Jean-Baptise) - Acosta is aggressive and likes to attack the hoop. He uses his length to get to the basket and can finish strongly at the rim. He has a good mid-range jumper and is a hustle player who looks to get rebounds. He is also a strong defensive player in the paint. 3.7 gpa.

 

Jersey #22 Jack Guevara (2023) 6’0 guard, Archbishop Molloy High, AAU Team: Riverside Hawks (Colon) - Guevara is a next-level combo guard. He uses his IQ to be a ghreat in-game leader and floor general.  He is an excellent 3pt shooter, can shoot off of the dribble and finish with either hand.. He is a two way guard with great defensive abilty and rebounds well for his position.  He uses his deceptive hand speed to snag steals from the opponent. Guevara is as tough as they come and can finish strong with the game on the line. His Molloy team won the CHSAA freshman championship last season. 3.4 gpa.

 

Jersey #23 Zarek Swetye (2021) 5’ 11 guard, Darien High School (CT) – Swetye is making the investment in himself. He understands what it takes in that his brother currently plays with High Major, Xavier University.  He trains privately with former NBA player and works with a strength and conditioning coach.  He is well-versed in all aspects of the game and has a high basketball IQ.  Excellent shooter and defender. 3.3 gpa.

 

Jersey #24 Sajan Porter (2022) 6’1 point guard, King School (CT) - Porter is an explosive guard, with good vision, who can get to his spots on the court. He has a good midrange pull-up. He finishes well around the rim, and he is great at getting his teammates the ball when they are open. He can shoot the three ball, but is focuesded on improving that. 3.7 gpa.

 

Jersey #30 Alister Walsh (2024) 5’11 guard, Ridgefield High (CT), AAU Team: High Rise Elite (Jean-Baptiste) - Walsh is a consumate all around player. He can score from all three levels. In addition to his jump shooting, he can finish through contact and with either hand when attacking the lane. Even more impressive is his defense where he takes his oppponent out of his game. He shows his toughness in taking multiple charges per game. Always playing with a next-play mentality, he is ever-ready to captialize on the opportunities that arise. He is coachable, and loved by his coaches. 4.0 gpa.

 

Jersey #31 Marcus Watts Jr (2023) 5’5 guard, King School (CT) - Watts has good ball handling and court vision. He shoots when needed, but is mostly about getting into the lane and faciltate from there. He is a good and agressive defender.

 

Jersey #32 Aidan Karson (2024) 5’9 point guard, Greenwich High, AAU Team: High Rise Elite (Jean-Baptise) - Karson is an explosive point guard with above average athleticism. He can finish at the rim and gets downhill quickly. He has an ever-improving jump shot and has all the tricks to make crafty plays in the paint. He gets players involved and will be a force as a freshman wherever he plays.  3.6 gpa.

 

Jersey #33 Malachi McMillan (2023) 6’0 guard, Archbishop Molloy High - McMillan is a strong, fast and aggressive guard. He can shoot the 3 and is a great on-ball defender. 3.7 gpa.

 

Jersey #34 Branden Louis (2022) 5’10 guard, King School (CT) - Louis is an explosive guard with good vision and good ball handling. His mid-range shot is good, but he is focused on improving his 3 point shot. He is a very good decision maker and loves to compete. 3.4 gpa.

 

Jersey #35 George McCormack (2024) 5’10 point guard, Greenwich High, AAU Team: High Rise Elite (Jean-Baptise) - McCormack is a shooter with range and is normally considered the best shooter on any team he plays on. He has the ability to change any game with his shooting. You won’t be able to give him room anywhere on the court. He can do more than shoot as he also has an above average IQ and sees the floor well. We forsee George continually developing into a all-around player as he grows into his body. 3.4 gpa..

 

Jersey #36 Amir Preston (2021) 6’0 guard, Darien High (CT), AAU Team: Academic Basketball Club (Rubin) - Preston is an attacking guard. He can finish around the rim, as well penetrate and kick. He is comfortable with pulling up for the mid-range shot. He loves to rebound and play defense.  Preston also likes to run the floor. 3.0 gpa.
