Dan McHale, former D1 head coach and his partner, Jaren Sina, a standout player in high school, at Seton Hall, George Washington and professionally overseas now run a New Jersey based company that helps place kids in college called CRC.

On September 29, they held a showcase at Gill St. Bernard’s School in Gladstone, NJ that featured more than 60 prospects and drew more than 30 college coaches. Below are some of the top performers from the event.

Ryan Leach (2026) 5’11 point guard, Chatham High, (NJ) - A complete floor general who makes everyone around him better. Leach, looked like the best player on the floor,
showing off his passing ability and quick first step on many occasions. Elite high academic D3s are in competition to land the talented junior.

Monte Douglass (2026) 6’5 wing, Gill St Bernards School (NJ) - A strong and physical wing that can score at all 3 levels. Douglass displayed his shooting stroke and finishing ability many times during live play. Appears to be a vocal leader who has a strong basketball IQ. Another high academic D3 star in the making.

Tristan Durkin (2026) 6’0 point guard, Randolph High (NJ) - A sharpshooting lead guard that really impressed with his playmaking ability. Really good court awareness and has the ability to beat up from 3. Another Morris County guard that will be a valuable contributor this season and play in college.

Austin Kolakowski (2027) 6’1 shooting guard, Delbarton School (NJ) - Scouts were really impressed with this sophomore’s all-around game. Shot the ball terrific all day from deep and has great body control. He looked really poised for an underclassmen. Oozing with potential and could find his way on to a Patriot or Ivy League roster as he develops. Definitely an exciting prospect to watch.

Nico West (2027) 6’2 small forward, Gill St. Bernards School (NJ) - A scoring wing that attacked the rim all day. Scouts loved his slashing ability and mid-range game. Took pride in his defense and looks to be a nice piece for Coach Mergin Sina’s squad this year. Should be another Gill kid that will play at the next level.

Sean Duncan (2028) 5’8 shooting guard, Rutgers Prep (NJ)-  A talented freshman that displayed his shot-making ability. Really impressed with his maturity and poise. Projects to be a major player for Rutgers prep and somebody that should be in the D2/D3 watch list.
