2022-23 Trinity Pawling Season Preview


Founded in 1907, Trinity-Pawling School is an all-boys college preparatory school located in Pawling, NY. They serve 300 boys in grades 7-12 and offer a postgraduate program. Their beautiful 230-acre campus is situated just 60 miles north of New York City.


The Trinity Pawling School basketball team is coached by Tarik Smith and competes in the NEPSAC Class A (large schools) and Founders League conference.

The following T-P college prospects will be running in this fall’s Open Gyms:


Vincent Chaudhri (2025) 6’7 guard - Chaudhri plays AAU with the Riverside Hawks. He holds a D1 offer from Manhattan College, and has interest from mid majors. A long guard who uses his length and athleticism to finish above the rim and to create his own shot from all three levels. He can protect the rim and guard multiple positions on the perimeter.


Christian Joe (2023)  5’11 point guard - A post grad from Bishop Loughlin, who is very quick and great finisher around the rim. Also has range out the three point line.


Landon Printz (2023) 6’2 guard -  A high IQ guard who shoots the three very well and can also penetrate off the dribble to create shots. 1200 SAT 3.5 GPA


Iverson Plaza (2023) 5’9 guard - Plaza can penetrate the paint and create shots for himself and others. Excellent on ball defender, and vocal leader.


Justin Umunakwe (2023) 6’5 guard - A strong guard who finishes through contact and loves to defend. Has range to the three. 4.0 GPA


Amadin Collette (2023) 6’8 forward - A strong wing/big who has soft touch and range to the three point line. Creates space to rebound.


Jace Emerson (2025)  6’5 small forward - A strong wing who can shoot the three and finishes with a variety of moves.
