2023 6th Boro Hoops 17u College Prospects
6th Boro Hoops is a long-term oriented program with the goal of holistically developing their players. The program was founded and is directed by Nihad Musovic, a four year player at Fordham Prep ‘11, Fordham University ‘15 and two year member of the Montenegrin National Team. He holds a Masters of Sports Coaching from West Virginia University.
Their 2023 17u roster is as follows:
Danilo Kojicic (2024) 6’6 small forward, Hoosac School - Kojicic is a great offensive player, most dangerous from the 3-point line. He is very creative within the paint, creates for himself and his teammates. He is a very skilled player who is very good with his penetration when the 3pt shot is not available. He puts a lot of effort in defense, defends every position on the floor. He has a lot of experience and tries to pass it on to his teammates
Juraj Minarovjech (2024) 6’5 small forward, Hoosac School - Minarovjech is your do everything, versatile team player who can play and guard all positions. Standing at 6’6 with 6’10 wingspan, Juraj’s focus is winning. His nickname is the “Slovak army knife” because of the many options of his utility. Juraj is a very coachable player, who uses both hands and has underrated floater/midrange game. He also hits his spot up shots and plays really well off-ball. Moves without the ball very well, always in the right place at the right time.
Dimitrios Sklavenitis (2024) 6’3 point guard, Hoosac School - Sklavenitis is a crafty point guard, an unselfish leader and a defensive minded guard. He is a great 3 point shooter and an exceptionally good ball handler. Gets to the basket with ease and can finish in multiple ways. Great court vision, always willing to give the extra pass and always active hands on the defensive end. Great one on one defender with superb lateral movement who can perform any task he is assigned. Real leader on and off the court, coachable and always putting in extra hours in the gym. Video highlights. Receiving LM recruitment.
Relja Vranesevic (2024) 6’8 forward, Hoosac School - Vranesevic is a very unselfish big guy, who was a captain as a junior. Selected as 2nd team Power Five League. He can shoot the three and has great court vision. Most dangerous part of his game is in the post with his soft touch around the rim and feel for the rebound.
Kentrell Evans (2024) 6’6 small forward, Hoosac School - Evans, a Brooklyn native, is one of those players that can impact the game in different categories and does the things that don’t always show on the stat sheet. He is a strong and athletic wing that has very high energy and a high motor on both sides of the floor. Some of his greater traits as a player include: dominant rebounder, good shot blocking and timing skills, very high mid range percentage and an improving three point shot.
Vladimir Pavlovic (2023) 6’3 point guard - An Explosive point guard who gets into the paint at ease and attacks the rim aggressively. Finds passing angles that very few point guards in the country can. Can guard the best player 94 feet all game with no drop in energy. Unbelievable athlete and worker. Kani Topuz 6’8 (2024) 6’8 forward - A dangerous forward that can shoot the three ball, guard all positions, and is an extremely unselfish teammate. Plays basketball with an extremely high IQ.
Nikola Djapa (2023) 6’10 forward -A modern big that can step out and guard on the 3 point line and shoot threes. With his broad shoulders and long frame, he seals well and makes professional moves back to the basket. With all his offensive talents, he is still the ultimate team player. Receiving MM recruitment.
Sifeng Huan (2026) 6’10 forward - At only 15 years old, the stretch 4-man can do a little bit of everything. He can smoothly shoot 3s and efficiently scores with his back to the basket. He is a talent to watch for the future.
Tunde Fasasi Vahlberg (2023) 6’8 forward - An extremely gifted athlete that can play in multiple positions. Dangerous from wherever he catches it on the floor. Has an extremely high ceiling that has yet to be reached. Receiving LM recruitment.
