More than 30 years ago, Wiz Kids Basketball started as a small basketball recreation program in the Bronx, and over the years it evolved into Wiz Kids Books B4 Basketball Organization. It has grown to serve over 650 children annually, aged 5-18, primarily from the Metro New York area. In the years that have followed over, 1400 children have passes through the Wiz Kids program and 90% have gone on to post-secondary institutions. The Wiz Kids successful basketball alumni list is impressive. The program’s mission is to improve the quality of life for student-athletes in their community by increasing educational opportunities and assisting their student-athletes in achieving a secondary education with the support of sports and mentoring.
