The House We Built is an independent program on the HGSL circuit and has produced over 40 players in the NCAA, including over 20 Division I players, in the past 4 years. The House We Built provides unparalleled holistic development of student athletes.


This year, the 17u HGSL team is coached by Alfred Chan and University of Pittsburgh legend Bobby Martin.

 

Kesean Shillingford (2024) 7’0 center/forward, Newman School (MA) - Lengthy, mobile, athletic big with a rebounding motor and rim protecting presence. Great soft finishing touch around the rim. High IQ, willing, and skilled passer. Will continue to develop at a rapid pace - D1 schools should get on him ASAP.


Jake Cofield (2024) 6’9 forward, Catholic Memorial High (MA) - Tough, rugged, high motor forward with a 7’3 wing span. Rebounds at a high rate and alters shots at the rim. Attacks the basket hard and has a developing midrange jumper. A D1 prospect. Has 2025 option.


Evan Reeves (2024) 6’9 forward, Wilbraham & Monson Academy (MA) - Athletic skilled forward who has a soft touch around the rim and knocks the 3 ball at a high rate. High IQ player who rebounds hard and makes the right basketball play. 4.0 GPA and has drawn Patriot and Ivy interest.


Hassan Jenkins (2024) 6’4 guard, New Mission High (MA) - Athletic, bouncy, rangy, and tough two way guard who can score it at all three levels. Great first step that gets him downhill. Rebounds the ball well at his position and plays with a motor. Scholarship level prospect.


Chris Clarke (2023) 6’4 guard, Scotland Campus (PA) - Athletic two way combo guard who has developed at a high rate in the past year. Talented downhill slasher who finishes well at the rim and possesses a midrange pull up and knocks down the catch and shoot 3.


Jonathan Guerrier (2023) 6’4 guard, The Darrow School - High flying two way combo guard who attacks the rim violently. Knocks down the 3 ball, defends, and rebounds with a motor. Scholarship level prospect.


Jake Blackburn (2025) 6’4 guard, Worcester Academy (MA) - Tough two way guard who is a lights out shooter with exceptional range; also has a deadly midrange jumper. Scholarship level prospect.


Mark Ostad (2024) 6’3 guard, Millbrook School - Combo guard who shot 40% from 3 for the Millbrook School this past season. Plays hard on both ends. Good straight line driver who can finish with both hands. High academic prospect. 4.2 gpa


Troy Miller Jr (2024) 6’3 guard, St Marks School (MA) - Quick guard who can defend. Good downhill speed allows him to drive and kick. Has ability and feel to distribute the ball.


Troy McKoy Jr. (2023) 6’5 guard, Masanutten Military Academy (VA)- This big framed guard moves very quick for his size, finishes in a variety of different ways around the basket, and sprays the ball out to teammates.
