HQ Elite is a proud affiliate of Nike’s UPLAY Canada, located in Hamilton, Ontario. They’ve created an exciting basketball program that participates in the highly competitive American MADE Hoops Circuit. Their unwavering mission is to provide the youth of Hamilton unparalleled opportunities, fostering their pursuit of post-secondary education and growth in basketball at the highest level. They prioritize refining basketball skills through intensive training sessions and exposure to competitive tournaments, catching the attention of college scouts. Their commitment extends beyond the court with specialized services like prep/private school placement assistance and leadership development, guiding athletes in academic planning and mentorship.


THe HQ Elite 16u roster is as follows:


Cam Selig (2028) 6’5


Luka Paslic (2026) 6’5 - Paslic is a three point specialist. Very physical can guard the 1-4. Always look to get teammates involved. Will do the dirty work taking charges and diving for loose balls.


Cassidy Garrick (2026) 6’1 guard - Garrick is an extremely quick player and a tenacious defender with a great physical frame that is beyond his years. His excellent ball handling ability allows him to create for his teammate’s while also holding the ability to get a bucket at any moment when his team is in need. Garrick’s greatest asset may be his leadership and coach Ming ability, while also holding an “never quit” attitude that helps will his teams to wins.

Daveh Rose (2026) 6’7


Omaree Francis (2026) 6’1 guard -

 

Daniel Simon (2026) 6’8 small forward - Simon is able to handle the ball, and stretch the floor out for any team. He is a consistent three point shooter that also has a a mid range game. He is also excellent at rim protecting.

 

George Nasir (2026) 6’4 - Nasir is a guard that can handle the ball, shoot the ball consistently from anywhere, can attack the basket. The best part about him is that he has length, he can guard around in the paint and around the perimeter with his size and length


Josh Henry (2027) 5’11


Arvin Batsinda (2026) 6’8 wing - Batsinda is a very talented all round player that can space the floor and shoot the midrange with high accuracy, he’s always making the right reads he can also dribble like a guard at 6’8, also got great footwork with a nice post game and can finish at the rim with the best of them. Arvin’s very versatile can guard the 1 through 5 if needed.

 

Joseph Botembo (2027) 6’1 guard - Botembo is a shifty lefty guard with a knockdown jump shot with great handles and a good leader on and off the court.

 

Jessie Emmanuel (2027) 6’2 guard -
