2024 Nate Blue Showcase Standouts

On April 11, we made it to Louis D. Brandeis Educational Campus on the Upper West Side of Manhattan for the annual Nate Blue Showcase, which featured many of New York City’s best up and coming talent in one game and two games for the senior class of 2024. College coaches from NCAA Division II, Division III & NJCAA (junior college) schools were also in attendance. Here are the standouts for the event:


Sir’Patrick Livingston 6-2, Forward, South Bronx Preparatory High School, Class of 2024 - A forward that loves to get out on the break and run in transition. Is able to drive to the basket with ease and is a solid finisher at the cup. Is fearless when it comes to absorbing contact, especially when going up for rebounds.


Jordin Walker 5-11, Shooting Guard, Cardozo High School, Class of 2024 - A guard that is a scoring threat everyone he touches the ball. Is known for having a penchant for hitting three-pointers at will every time when he’s on the wing. Is a great defensive threat that is prone to getting steals and then sprinting down court on the fast break. Is able to finish efficiently when going up for two.


Victor Lyle 6-1, Shooting Guard, Albert Tuitt Educational Campus, Class of 2024 - A guard that has the ability to dominate the floor at his position. Is a player that is known for his ability to shoot from long range and is able to create for himself off the dribble at all times. Is able to get past his defender with ease and get to the basket with ease.


Robert Phelps, Jr. 6-5, Shooting Guard, Bedford Academy, Class of 2025 - A guard that has the ability to make great plays on the court and is a true scorer on the floor. Is a player that loves to get to the basket and can destroy the opposition if he is not guarded heavily. Is also able to obtain rebounds with ease.


Kai Harvey 5-6, Shooting Guard, Mount Vernon High School, Class of 2025 - A guard that has the ability to be a playmaker and great decision-maker when on the court. Is able to see where his teammates are at every time they are getting down court. Has the ability to drive down court and finish efficiently. Is also a good shooter from long range.


Eric Fagin, Jr. 6-3, Shooting Guard. Monsignor Scanlan High School, Class of 2025 - A guard that can make his presence felt in many ways. Is a player that likes to hustle on both ends of the court. Is a player that can shoot from long range and is fearless when driving to the basket, as he always looks to get to the free-throw line.


Jeremiah Jacobs 6-8, Forward, Eagle Academy II, Class of 2025 - A forward that is a physical presence in the low post and is able to hold his own when it comes to getting rebounds in the paint area. Is able to throw down dunks efficiently and can finish efficiently in the paint when it comes to layups. Is able to alter the opposition’s shot by showing off his length.


Elijah King 6-1, Shooting Guard, Eagle Academy I, Class of 2027 - A guard that is quick and deceptive every time he is out on the break. Is able to get to the basket with ease and is a good shooter from three-point range. Has a lot of confidence in his game and can find his teammates on the break when the opportunity presents itself.


Tavien Taylor 5-6, Point Guard, Mount Vernon High School, Class of 2025 - A guard that is able to make an impact whenever he is on the court. Is able to find his teammates whenever he is on the perimeter and puts them in position to score, especially if they’re open. Has the ability to make great plays on the floor, especially on the defensive end. Knows when to attack the basket and can also hit shots from outside.


Josh Rivera 6-6, Forward, Archbishop Stepinac High School, Class of 2027 - A forward that has the ability to use his length and versatility in many ways. Has the ability to step out on the three-point range and can hit shots. Is able to put the ball on the floor and can crash the boards for rebounds.


Tristan Davis 5-8, Point Guard, Thomas Jefferson Campus, Class of 2025 - A guard that has the ability to make his presence felt on the court in many ways. Is known for making plays that will leave the defenders startled, as he has a quick first step that he uses to get past the opposition. Is able to drive to the basket and score with ease. Is able to distribute the ball with ease.


Jahmire Brewer 6-7, Forward, South Shore High School, Class of 2024 - A forward that has plenty of strength and has the ability to be a force in the low post. Is able to showcase his athleticism when he goes up for powerful dunks in the post. Is able to put the ball on the floor and make pull up jumpers from the top of the key. Is able to obtain rebounds and make cutback baskets.
