The Athletic Club of Connecticut was founded in 2018 by Donnell Harvey.  Player development, coaching, and competition are the building blocks to the program. AC Connecticut Basketball emphasizes the importance of teamwork, sportsmanship, and education. The program is driven by what is best for the child: whether in a game, practice, classroom or life. 

 

2025 Athletic Club of Connecticut 17u team is coached by Sean Florenz and Donnell Harvey, and their roster is as below.

 


#0 Aidan Walker (2026) 6’0 point guard, Newtown High (CT) - Walker is a shifty guard with the ability to get to his spots and score from all 3 levels. He can get hot in a blink of an eye and go off for 15-20 in a quarter at any time


#2 Armani Checo (2025) 5’11 point guard, New Milford High (CT)


#2 Jackson Kubrin 5’10 point guard


#4 Danny Ciriello (2025) 6’4 guard, Brookfield High (CT) - Ciriello is a dynamic guard with incredible defensive instincts. His size and athleticism allow him to defend 1-3. A high IQ helps him to create for himself and other.  3.6 gpa


#6 Victor Oloke (2026) 5’10 point guard, Bethel High (CT) - Oloke’s leadership, IQ and motor are traits that coaches love. High academic student who translates his competitive drive into both the court and the classroom. For the team’s first weekend of play, he averaged 24pts and 5 assist while leading the team to a 3-1 record and a championship game berth. 3.7 gpa

#13 Abiel Morales (2025) 5’8 point guard, Immaculate High (CT)

 

#21 Pete Szpakowski (2025) 6’7 forward, Ridgefield High (CT)


#24 Alex Hickey (2025) 6’0 guard, Ridgefield High (CT) - Hickey opened the spring season by scoring 39pts in a game. He is a sniper from behind the arc. Hickey is an absolute dog, hardest playing competitor on the court in every game.
