Connecticut Elite-Langston 17u College Prospects

Dominique Langston is the head coach of the Connecticut Elite-Langston 17u team. He is also a former college player, both for D1 Quinipiac College and D2 SCSU. He is also a Fairfield Warde High School (CT) Boys Varsity Assistant Coach. All of which gives him a pretty guy eye for recognizing college prospects in the region. Here are the ones playing for him this spring.


#10 Justyn Davis (2022) 6’4 guard, Fairfield Warde HS (CT) - Davis is a long, athletic combo and can play 1-3.  Justyn can score it at all levels. Shoots the 3 ball at high level and plays solid defense on-ball.

 

#3 Micah Morgan (2022)  6’1 guard, Amity HS (CT) - Morgan is very good off-the-bounce, has a great feel for the game, can score around the rim in variety of ways. Also has the ability to shoot the 3 ball .  All West Division SCC team this past winter.

 

#5 Jordyn Davis (2022) 6’4 guard, Fairfield Warde HS (CT) - Justyn and Jordyn Davis are twin brothers. Jordyn is a 3 level scorer, who scores effortlessly at will. He is very long and athletic and can play and guard positions 1-4. He is a match up nightmare in most scenarios.

 

#32 Andy Kote (2022) 6’4 forward, John Jay HS (NY) - Kote is a high academic stretch forward who is under valued at his size. He is a knockdown 3pt shooter, decent off the bounce and has the size to defend 3-5 positions.

 

#11 Demian Vial (2022) 6’0 point guard, Fairfield Warde HS (CT)- Dial is a high academic, scoring point guard. He has the high motor and IQ to play at the next level. He has the ability to knockdown open shots and is very great in the transition. Lives in the gym. 

 

#1 Sean Clemons (2022) 5’10 guard, St. Luke’s School (CT) - Your classic pass-first point guard, who has the ability to find open teammates at will. Clemons also has the ability to score it as well. High academic player.


#14 Jack Murphy (2022) 6’6 forward Staples HS (CT) - Murphy is a high academic with a great IQ and Knowledge of the game, makes the game easy. He has decent footwork on the defensive end and can score it from mid range and around the rim.

 

#35 Clinton Springer (2022) 6’4 stretch forward, Notre Dame-West Haven (CT) Springer can help space the floor and shoot the 3 ball, and he is also pretty athletic off two feet. He is a decent post player and can defend 3-5 .


#15 Jordan Chamberlain (2022) 5’11 point guard, Notre Dame Fairfield (CT) - Chamberlain has a great feel for the game. He takes pride on the defensive end and can also can knock down open shots.


#2 Rhodia Perry (2022) 6’0 guard, New London HS (CT) Perry is shifty and has great scoring ability. He has 3 point range and the creative ability to score off the bounce as well . Poised for a huge summer.


#12 Jayquan Kirkland (2022) 6’4 Stratford HS (CT) - Kirkland was a Division 3 All State Player this past winter. He can score at all 3 levels as a freak athlete who can create off the bounce. He loves the mid range pull up jump-shot, but can also hit the 3 point shot. Can Guard 1-4 on the defensive end.


#25 Derek Long (2022) 6’2 guard St. Joesph HS (CT) - Long is a high academic player that is has that knack of scoring the ball. He is a combo guard who can also play in the front court for small ball action. He already has a decent college body and has great hands on the ball on defense!  Best on-ball defender.


#30 Jahvon Myrthil (2022) 6’1 guard Notre Dame-West Haven PG - Myrthil is a smooth scorer with lots of ability. He knows the game very well and gets to his spots off-of-the-ball. He shows his athletic ability on the defensive end.


#11 Aidan Giannelli (2022) 6’2 guard, Fox Lane HS (NY) - Giannelli is a southpaw shooter who will knock down open shots. He has decent size for his position is strong enough to ply physical on the inside.
