Sean Stahn is the head coach in his 12h season at Palisade Preparatory School in Yonkers, NY. Palisade Prep has won three league titles, two city championships and 1 Section Championship during Stahn’s reign. They have also sent nine players on to play college ball. The Phoenix play in Class B of New York State Section 1.  Below are the college prospects currently in the program.

Deneli McIntosh (2022) 5’10 guard, AAU Team: Westchester Swarm.- McIntosh is a guard who is unstoppable when driving to the basket and finishing through contact with either hand, despite his height. A handle that allows him to break any defender down and a quick first step to blow by the defender. He has great court vision and exceptional rebounder at the guard position.

Xavier Merrill (2023) 6’2 forward, AAU Team: Westchester Swarm - Merrill is a versatile forward but can play any position on the offense end. He is a tough player that can finish at the rim with either hand, knock down the mid-range jumper and open threes. Defensively he guards forwards and centers, including those bigger than him as he brings the Draymond Green ability to play small but have someone who can lock down a true center.  He is also a great rebounder at his size.

Jalen Brown (2023) 6’4 forward, AAU Team: Westchester Swarm - Brown is an extremely athletic stretch four. He finishes at the rim very well and can knock down threes at a consistent rate. He has great lateral speed can guard smaller and quicker players as well as bigs.

Louis Martinez (2023) 6’0 guard- Martinez is a knock down shooter, who has spent the summer working on his driving ability and finishing in the paint.

Miguel Gonzalez (2024) 5’7 point guard, AAU Team: Westchester Swarm - Gonzalez is a young, gifted player with a tremendous upside. He is a quick slasher, who is willing to make the right pass and able to knock down shots from mid to long range. His best qualities are his dedication to his improvement, his confidence in his abilities and his desire to win. Gonzalez is willing to be coached and is a great teammate.
