2021-22 St Edmund Prep Roster Preview

St. Edmund Preparatory High is set to begin the 2021-2022 season with high hopes. Coach Dan Wiatre enters his 16th season with Assistant Coaches Patrick Akande and Justin Manon and a versatile group of players that promises to be tough on the defensive end and share the ball and push the pace on the offensive side.


The team looks to have good depth and will be led by juniors Mitchell Wiggan and Brendan Armour.


Jaydin Sanchez (2024) 5’7 point guard - super quick shooter with unlimited range.


Malik Wilson (2024) 5’8 point guard - defensive minded distributor.


Matthew Steiner (2023) 5’8 point guard - floor general and facilitator.


Jordan Boreman (2024) 6’2 guard - super talented combo guard that plays on both ends of the floor.


Delaney Neil (2022) 5’9 guard - experienced guard that can knock down the open shot.


Shane Alexandre (2022) 5’9 guard - high energy shooter off the bench.


Mitchell Wiggan (2023) 6’4 wing - long and athletic. Big time scorer and rebounder.


Jonathan Mendizabal (2022) 6’1 wing - good rebounder and can make shots.


Joey McLinden (2022) 6’1 - instant offense off the bench. Starting shortstop on the CC Baseball team.


Maxwell Hooper (2022) 6’1 - runs the floor and provides scoring. Also runs on the track team.


Jackson Cherubin (2022) 6’3 - good scorer and rebounder.


Matthew Frost (2023) 6’2 - active player that brings toughness to the court.


Michael Arnold (2022) 6’1 forward - tenacious defender and high energy player. A Ben Wallace type.


Brendan Armour (2023) 6’6 forward - highly skilled inside/out performer.
