Eagle Academy II Open Gym 10/1/21

On October 1, RecruitTheBronx.com paid a visit to Eagle Academy II in the Ocean Hill section of Brooklyn for their Open Gym. In the Open Gym, their players showcased their talents as they were getting ready for their upcoming season. Here were the standouts from the Open Gym:

 

Khalik Sharpe 6-2, Point Guard, Class of 2023 - A guard that is quick and shifty with the ball and knows how to make the right plays when on the floor. Is able to drive to the lane with precision, and is fearless when it comes to absorbing contact, which enables him to draw a foul and get to the line. Finds ways to get his shot off in transition and has the ability to pass to his teammates the ball that may lead to assists.

 

Taj Bryant 5-9, Point Guard, Class of 2024 - A guard that is able to get to the lane easily with his craftiness on the offensive end. Is able to create for himself when he has the ball in his hands and knows when to drive to the cup for a basket. Has the ability to see where his teammates are moving to and puts them in position to get baskets.

 

Eric Acker 6-1, Shooting Guard, Class of 2023 - A guard that has the ability to see the floor and knows how to maneuver on the court. Is able to break down the defense when going to the basket and has a penchant for playing above the rim. Knows when to dish it out to his teammates and set them up for baskets.

 

Jaquel Morris 6-8, Forward, Class of 2022 - A forward that is long and physically imposing in the post area and is fearless when it comes to holding his own in the paint area. Is always ready to obtain a block or a rebound and his ability to be active is superb. Has the potential to be a dominant force in the post.

 

Treshawn Sheppard 6-6, Forward/Shooting Guard, Class of 2023 - A guard that has length and size, as well as the ability to play both the two and the three position. Has plenty of strength and is able to play bully ball and muscle his way to the basket like a typical Brooklynite. Has the ability to use his athleticism in many ways, including going up for a dunk.

 

Angel Espiro 6-1, Shooting Guard, Class of 2024 - A guard that likes to make hustle plays and is very active on the floor. Is always alert when the ball is coming his way and can move well off the ball. Is great at getting his baskets with precision and finds ways to be alert when going for loose balls. Has a penchant for shooting from long range.

 

Isa Abraham 6-0, Point Guard, Class of 2023 - A guard that has great hands and is able to see what is going on when the ball is in motion. Is a tough defender and is able to stick with his man at all times. Knows when to be active when it comes to loose balls. Finds a way to get to the basket.

 

Emmanuel Obiora 6-7, Forward, Class of 2023 - A forward that has good size and can put the ball on the floor at all times when dribbling. Is very active on the boards when the ball goes up and has the ability to drive to the basket with ease. Makes smart decisions when it comes to driving with the ball and does not hesitate to play big when he has to and can play like a swingman.

 

Ajani Flemming 5-10, Point Guard, Class of 2024 - A guard that is very active on the defensive end as he stays with his man at all times. Has the opportunity to facilitate to his teammates and gives maximum effort on the floor. Is able to get steals and turn it into an opportunity to score.

 

Elijah Johnson 5-7, Point Guard, Class of 2024 - A guard that plays with great energy and a feel for the game. He is a pest on the ball defensively and stays with his man at all times. On the offensive side, he looks to set up teammates and reads the plays
