2021 Sunday Service Standouts

On Sunday, November 28, RecruitTheBronx.com made it to the Barclays Center in Brooklyn for the first annual “Sunday Service”. This event was set up so several PSAL teams were able to kick off their season by playing on an NBA court. This event was put on together by Varsity Customs and NYC Prospects.


Here are the standouts from the event:


Connor Sprattley 6-0, Point Guard, Thomas Jefferson High School, Class of 2025 - A guard that has plenty of poise in his game and excellent court vision. Has the ability to bring the ball up and can control the temp of the game when he has the ball in his hands. Has the ability to give his teammates the ball in the right places.

 

Tywan Evers 5-7, Point Guard, Thomas Jefferson High School, Class of 2023 - A guard that is fast and uses his speed to blaze past the opposition. Finds a way to draw fouls and get to the basket with ease. Has a nice shooting touch as well from mid-range and can facilitate to his teammates so that they can score.

 

Moussa Samake 6-7, Forward, Thomas Jefferson High School, Class of 2024 - A forward that is long and agile and can make his presence felt by putting his hands up at all times. Has a penchant for grabbing rebounds and by forcing the opposition to think twice about scoring in the lane when he’s in the paint. Has a nice shooting g tech and is able to get into the paint.

 

Anthony Isaac 6-5, Forward, Thomas Jefferson High School, Class of 2022 - A forward that has great size and can use his physicality to hold his own in the post area. Has the ability to shoot from long range and has a nice shooting touch from behind the arc. Is able to draw fouls and grab rebounds with ease.

 

Yanni Mousios 6-5, Forward, Cardozo High School, Class of 2022 - An undersized forward that is able to establish his presence in the post area. Is very tough and scrappy and will fight for loose balls. Has a penchant for playing tough defense on the opposition and is a great asset to his team. Finds many ways to score.

 

Isaiah Wright 6-2, Shooting Guard, Cardozo High School, Class of 2023 - A guard that has a penchant for driving to the basket and has the ability to take over a game with his scoring. Has the ability to obtain rebounds and draw fouls as a way to get to the free throw line. Is a player that is very aggressive and is a warrior when he steps on the floor.

 

Ryan Hudson 6-3, Shooting Guard, Cardozo High School, Class of 2022 - A guard that has the ability to bring the ball up and has excellent court vision. Is known for attacking the basket with ease and is known for scoring in bunches. Is able to create for himself off the dribble and is a very dangerous shooter from three-point range.

 

Toby Pascual 5-9, Point Guard, Cardozo High school, Class of 2022 - A diminutive guard that is very shifty and can break down a zone defense with his shooting. Is able to move around off the ball and finds ways to get open on the floor. When open, is able to shoot with plenty of range. Is able to get to the basket at will. Has excellent court vision and has the ability to pass the ball to teammates.

 

Qadir Martin 6-6, Forward, Curtis High School, Class of 2024 -A forward that is able to attack the glass and has plenty of toughness when he’s on the floor. Knows when to back down an opponent on get to the basket or the rim on the offensive end and is also able to box an opponent at the rim. Is versatile as he can put the ball on the floor and dribble.

 

Jalen Munson 5-11, Point Guard, Curtis High School, Class of 2024 - A guard that is quick and deceptive on the floor. Is able too see the floor well and is able to slow down the tempo for his team. Is able to blaze past defenders with a quick first step. Knows when to put up a shot or dish it out to his teammates so that they can score.

 

Toloupe Ayedemi, 6-4, Forward, Curtis High School, Class of 2022 - A forward that is a very strong inside presence in the post and has great hands that allow him to obtain the ball. Uses his strength to muscle into the paint. Is a player that can hold his own in the post.

 

Alex Agard, 5-6, Point Guard, Erasmus Hall High School, Class of 2023 - A guard that loves to run in transition and is very active when on the floor. Has plenty of quickness, which allows him to get downcourt in an efficient manner. Has a knack for splitting the defense as a way to get to the basket.

 

Cosby Napoleon 6-2, Forward, Erasmus Hall High School, Class of 2022 - A forward that is able to do it all for his team. Is great at attacking the boards and can use his strength and physicality when going up for a basket. Is very athletic and has the ability to finish at the rim.

 

Chris Erskine-Gidding 6-3, Forward, Erasmus Hall High School, Class of 2022 - A forward that has good size and is able to be a contributor to his team by doing any means necessary to stay on the floor. Is able to get to the basket and can put the ball on the floor. Is a player that can score when given the opportunity to do so.

 

Tyler Exeter, 5-9, Shooting Guard, Erasmus Hall High School, Class of 2023 - A guard that has the ability to run in transition on the fast break. Has the ability to get to the basket with ease and has excellent court vision. Is able to make decisions on the floor when he has the ball in his hand.

 

CJ Riley 6-0, Point Guard, Wings Academy, Class of 2022 - A guard that has plenty of flash in his game and can make plays when he has the ball in his hands. Has a penchant for shooting from mid-range and can also play the point guard position well. Has a knack for being a great facilitator on the floor.

 

Mohamed Kante 6-2, Forward, Wings Academy, Class of 2022 - An undersized forward that is great for holding his own when it comes to rebounding and attacking the glass. Is able to run on the fast break and is able to put the ball on the floor. Is fearless when driving to the basket at all times.

 

Eric Acker 6-1, Shooting Guard, Eagle Academy II, Class of 2023 - A guard that can make big plays on the court and has a penchant for making big shots. Is able to create for himself off the dribble and has the ability to get to the basket easily. Has a knack for shooting from three-point range.

 

Treyshawn Sheppard 6-6, Forward, Eagle Academy II, Class of 2023 - A forward that can play both the three and four positions on the floor. Is able to finish strong at the basket and is a solid rebounder at the glass. Has the ability to block shots when on the defensive end.

 

Tyliek Weeks 6-6, Forward, South Shore High School, Class of 2022 - A forward that is very versatile on the floor, as he has great footwork and is a force on the court. Is able to step out and shoot from long range or mid-range. Is able to get to the boards and use his physical strength to get a rebound.
