2022 Real Scout Jamboree Top Performers

On January 8, RecruitTheBronx.com sat in on the Real Scout New Year’s Jamboree event, which took place at Canarsie Educational Campus in Brooklyn. The event is one of the city’s best events to start off the New Year in a great fashion. Here are some of the standouts from the event:

 

Ryan Hudson 6-3, Shooting Guard, Cardozo High School, Class of 2022 - A guard that has the ability to bring the ball up on the perimeter and has excellent court vision. Is known for getting tp the basket with ease and is known for scoring with precision. Is able to create for himself off the dribble and can be a threat from three-point range. Also, has plenty of athleticism, especially on the offensive end.

 

Isaiah Wright 6-2, Shooting Guard, Cardozo High School, Class of 2023 - A guard that has a penchant for making strong drives to the basket and has the ability to make an impact on a game with his scoring. Has the ability to get rebounds and draw fouls as a way to get to the free throw line. Has great physicality and is not afraid of contact.

 

Toby Pascual 5-9, Point Guard, Cardozo High School, Class of 2023 - A guard that is very shifty and can switch speeds on the floor with his dribble. Is able to move around the floor off the ball and finds many ways to get open on the floor so that he get a shot off. Has the ability to be an efficient facilitator.

 

Denym Leslie 6-3, Shooting Guard, Cardozo High School, Class of 2023 - A forward that is able to get to the basket easily and gives plenty of effort to make hustle plays. Knows when to get up to the glass and snare rebounds. Is able to score when his team needs a basket.

 

Lavar Hunter 5-7, Point Guard, Canarsie Educational Campus, Class of 2025 - A guard that has the ability to make fearless drives to the basket and is not afraid of contact. Is great for setting up teammates with passes that could lead to baskets. Has a penchant for driving to the basket and is a good finisher.

 

Khalel Noteman 6-6, Forward, Canarsie Educational Campus, Class of 2023 - A forward that is very skilled and has great size. Is able to obtain rebounds at a fast rate and can absorb contact when he is going up for a basket. Has good hands, which also includes getting blocks.

 

Sean Johnson 6-0, Shooting Guard, Canarsie Educational Campus, Class of 2024 - A guard that loves to run in transition and has excellent court vision. Has the ability to change speeds when in transition and can attack the basket. Is able to control the team on the perimeter.

 

Thuron Gordon 6-2, Shooting Guard, Canarsie Educational Campus, Class of 2022 - A guard that can create for himself off of the dribble when he has the ball in his hands. His wingspan allows for him to get rebounds and he is great at boxing out in the low post when it comes to obtaining rebounds. Is a defender that forces the opposition into giving up the ball or into refusing to make certain shots. Uses his hands to stifle the opposition.

 

Jared Days-Jean 6-6, Swingman, Canarsie Educational Campus, Class of 2023 - A player who can create for himself off the dribble when he has the ball in his hands. Has great hands and is a superb rebounder in the post area. Has plenty of toughness and is able to use his ball handling skills to show off his versatility.

 

Jean Aranguren 6-3, Shooting Guard, Upper Room Christian School, Class of 2023 - A guard that has a penchant for making his presence felt with his scoring. Is his team’s leader and encourages his teammates to get better. Is able to drive to the basket easily. Is fearless when it comes to absorbing contact on the offensive end.

 

Dante Green 6-3, Shooting Guard, Upper Room Christian School, Class of 2024 - A guard that has the ability to be a facilitator, as he is a great passer. Is a player that possesses athletic skills, such as going up to dunk. Finds many ways to score, as he can drive to the basket and can also shoot from the perimeter.

 

Youssouf Singare 6-11, Forward, Upper Room Christian School, Class of 2023 - A forward with a large wingspan that has great hands and can hold his own in the post area. Knows when to get blocks and dominate in the post area. Has a penchant for making his presence felt offensively.

 

Darius Coleman 6-2, Shooting Guard, Upper Room Christian School, Class of 2023 - A guard that has a penchant for hustling and getting after the ball. Is very active when it comes to getting steals and has a penchant for obtaining rebounds. Finds ways to drive to the basket and score.

 

Don Colon-Lewis 6-5, Forward, Xaverian High School, Class of 2023 - A forward that has a penchant for using his size to his advantage. Has the physicality to post up smaller defenders and has great ball handling skills. Has great footwork and is smooth at moving around the floor. Has the ability to get his shot off from three-point range.

 

Spencer Mahoney 6-8, Small Forward, Xaverian High School, Class of 2023 - A forward that has plenty of versatility on the floor and has a good skill set. Is great at shooting from long range and has a penchant for his shooting stroke. Is good at using his body to absorb contact in the post.

 

Nasir Muhammad 6-0, Point Guard, Xaverian High School, Class of 2023 - A guard that has a penchant for being a great facilitator for his teammates. Is very quick and has great playmaking abilities. Is able to get to the basket easily and has good court vision.

 

Nico Peña 6-0, Shooting Guard, Xaverian High School, Class of 2024 - A guard that has the ability to make great plays on the court. Finds a way to get his shot off efficiently from three-point range. Has the ability to get open and can take advantage of a team when he is not heavily guarded.

 

Aaron Goldstein 6-0, Point Guard, Xaverian High School, Class of 2023 - A guard that has the ability to score in bunches and is always able to get his shot off in an efficient manner. Loves to drive to the basket and is a superb finisher at the cup. Has a great penchant for passing the ball to his teammates and giving them the ball at the best spots.

 

Supreme Niles 5-10, Guard, Xaverian High School, Class of 2022 - A guard who is a solid playmaker that can find ways to ensure that his teammates get the ball at the right moments. Finds ways to stick with his man on the defensive end and is always superb at getting steals. Is able to get to the hole with his quickness.
