Hoop Dreams 17u College Prospects
Hoop Dreams NYC is a basketball program with its own basketball facility located in Huntington Station on Long Island. Their program includes a strategic alliance with Method Test Prep, giving their players discounted access to SAT and ACT prep programs.
The Hoop Dreams 17u teams are coached by Tamar Adams, a player development coach. He is the director of Perfect Your Skills 24/7 which is located in Long Island, NY. With more than 10 years of experience, Adams has helped countless high school players get to college.
Hoop Dreams focuses on fielding AAU teams with excellent long-range shooters, intense defenders and aggressive rebounders. The college prospects from their 17u teams include the following:

Jamir Stewart (2022) 6’0 guard, Baldwin High - Shifty combo guard. Skilled ball handler. Breaks down defenders and make plays for others. Knockdown shooter from anywhere on the court. Very good in pick & roll actions. Solid on ball defender.
Andrew Zhou (2022) 6’1 guard, Syosset High - Shooting specialist and crafty guard that can create his own shot and make plays for others. Moves exceptionally well without the ball. High IQ. High motor. Competes at a very high level. Fierce competitor and solid on ball defender.
