2022 Chris Ward Basketball 17u White College Prospects

Chris Ward Basketball  is a large and successful grassroots program based in Westchester County. CWB holds player development clinics and camps year round for boys and girls ages 8 and up. A spot on one of their top AAU teams guarantees exposure with college coaches that could launch a player’s college career.

 


Below are the college prospects on the 2022 CWB White team:

 

Matt Toscano (2023) 5’11 guard Fox Lane High - Toscano is a great floor general. He is very quick and a knock down shooter. Toscano will always find the open shooter and is a lockdown on ball defender.

 

Aidan Roy (2023) 6’1 guard Mamaroneck High - Roy is a very skilled all around scorer. He’s a crafty finisher around the rim and can shoot with the best of them. Roy is always able to get to his spots and create for others. He is also a pest on defense racking up deflections and steals.

 

Andrew Mendel (2023) 6’3 small forward Lakeland High - Mendel is a strong and physical forward with a great frame, he rebounds very well and guards well both on the perimeter and the post. He has a great face-up game, finishing well around the rim and can step out and make three point shots.

 

Logan Shiland (2023) 6’4 forward/guard Lakeland High school Logan is a versatile forward with great length. He is a knockdown three point shooter but can also drive it and finish above the rim. Logan contests shots well while also getting in the passing lanes causing many deflections.

 

Chris Redhead (2024) 6’4 wing Fox Lane High - Redhead is a long wing who is able to guard bigs and guards. He is able to finish around the rim and shoots the three well. He also has great court vision finding open shooters.

 

Alex Zakheim (2023) 6’2 combo guard The Frisch School (NJ. Zakheim is a great scorer, being able to get to his spots easily. He has a very good midrange pull-up and gets to the rim very well. Zakheim pushes the ball in transition well, and creates for him and his teammates.

 

Tim Lacey (2023) 6’7 forward Dobbs Ferry Highschool. Lacey is a tall and has great length. He moves very well for his height. He finishes above the rim and is a great rim protector. Lacey is also able to stretch the floor and knock down threes.

 

Ethan Glassman (2023) 6’2 swing Mamaroneck High. Glassman is an excellent finisher around the rim. He has a great frame and rebounds great for his size. Glassman can knock down threes and score with ease. He has a great frame and creates space easily.
