Bishop Loughlin 2022 Open Gym Standouts

On September 26, RecruitTheBronx.com paid got to a Bishop Loughlin Memorial High Open Gym session. Loughlin is targeting to get to the CHSAA AA championship game for the first time since 2016, and is attempting win their first title since 1992. Here are the standouts from the Open Gym:

 

Christian Jeffrey 6-2, Shooting Guard, 2024 - A guard that has a lot of skill and is always ready to outwork his opponent. Is a physical guard and is ready to make contact when driving to the basket. Does not hesitate to shoot jumpers from long range & trusts his shot.

 

Jakai Sanders 6-3, Point Guard, 2024 - A guard that has the ability to get past his opponents with his penchant for putting the ball on the floor and is able to attack in transition. A player that has plenty of athleticism and is a great decision maker on the offensive end. Has good hands and will swipe the ball and run on the fast break.

 

Makhaya Moore 6-7, Forward, 2023 - A forward that is skilled and has plenty of toughness. Loves to run the floor and is very active on the boards. Uses his strength to overpower other players in the paint. Is a great finisher at the rim and is known for his thunderous dunks.

 

Ford Okehi 5-11, Shooting Guard, 2024 - A guard that is driven to be competitive and will take on any opponent in his way. Is very deceptive with the ball, as he is able to attack in transition. Has the ability to play tough defense and is always focused and locked in at the task at hand.

 

Kamar Pierre 6-4, Forward, 2024 - A forward that is an anchor for his team at all times. Is a player that looks right far open and loves to drive to the basket when he’s on the offensive end. Has plenty of toughness when in the post area, as he is able to obtain rebounds and can absorb contact.

 

Myles Balbosa 6-3, Shooting Guard, 2024 - A guard with plenty of versatility, as he can do plenty of things on the court. Has a penchant for getting past the opposition with his smooth handle. Will slice and dice his way to the basket & will also pull up for a jumper, which is shot in a nice and fluid motion.
