Monsignor Scanlan High School is a Catholic co-educational secondary school located in the Bronx. Their boys varsity basketball team competes in the CHSAA AA conference. They are head coached by Dwayne Mitchell


The college prospects running in this Fall’s Open Gyms are below:

 

Jabari Phillips (2023) 6’4 swing - Jabari is a strong, physical guard/forward that has the ability to push the ball in transition.  He is also a rebounding machine that can stretch the floor and consistently knock down open jumpers.

 

Kassius Paulin (2023) 6’4 guard - Kassius is a lanky guard that can knock down open 3’s.  He has a knack for rebounding and finishing at the cup.

 

Nasir Rodriguez (2024) 6’4 guard - Holding multiple offers from D1 schools.  Nasir’s game is starting to flourish even more.  He continues to knock down tough shot and finish at the basket with his strong frame

 

Kenny Fields (2023) 6’0 point guard - Kenny is a lightning quick Pg that hits long distance 3s.  His quickness allows him to beat defenders to the basket where he can finish or drop off assists.

 

Dior Anderson (2026) 6’2 guard - The freshman is strong and poised.  Dior consistently finishes at the basket in transition but also has the ability to slow the game down to score and distribute.  He currently holds two offers from Stony Brook University and Robert Morris University.

 

Jaylen Logue (2023) 6’8 forward - Jaylen rebounds the ball extremely well.  He hits consistent midrange jump shots and love driving to the basket.  Runs the floor in transition and is as tough as they come.

 

Jaidan Hill (2023)  6’0 point guard - Jaidan has the ability to beat defenders off the dribble.  He is very physical which allows him to finish at the basket and gets into the gaps to distribute effectively.
