2022-23 Chaminade High Player Profiles
Chaminade High of Mineola, NY is a Roman Catholic high school for boys. Chaminade is also a founding member of the Nassau-Suffolk Catholic High Schools Athletic Association, of which they are a perennial contenders in boys varsity basketball. The team is head coached by Dan Feeney. Some of the key players that he will be relying on are profiled below:
Dave DeBusschere (2023) - A third year starter that does a little bit of everything for the Flyers. A 6 foot guard with an elite shooting touch and unlimited range. Has increased his ability to play make and defend. Look for him to be one of the best players in the league this year.
Bradley Wyckoff (2023) - A combo guard/forward for the Flyers. He has expanded his perimeter game and is the most versatile player on the team. Capable of playmaking from the perimeter or playing in the post.
Antoni Vlogianitis (2023) - Another elite shooter for the Flyers, but capable of doing much more. Look for him to have a much expanded role this season. Unlimited range with an outstanding work ethic.
Joe Knaus (2024) - This 6’5 stretch 4 has an elite shooting touch. He is capable of playing in the post but often does his damage from the perimeter. Will have a much expanded role this year in his second year on the varsity team.
PJ Kellachan (2023) - The 6’8 University of Scranton commit has developed his game over the course of the last 4 years. Should be a solid contributor that can be a load to handle around the rim with his size and length.
Devin Dillon (2024) - This 6’0 combo guard is a “do it all” player for the Flyers. An excellent finisher around the room with a much improved shooting touch. One of the toughest players on the team.
Kam Elliott (2024) - This 6’0 combo guard has a lethal touch from the outside but has the full package offensively. Look for his role to grow as he gains confidence later in the season. One of the more gifted offensive players on the roster.
Ricky Gunther (2025) - A 6’1 wing will contribute in many ways this season. An outstanding finisher with an ability to shoot it. Look for his role to grow later in the season.
