2023 Mobilios Basketball Player Profiles

Shawn Mobilio is a former college basketball player and Assistant Coach at D2 powerhouse, University of New Haven, and he is also a Co-Owner of Slamma Jamma Basketball Camps. Mobilios Basketball is his Connecticut-based program that has been running for 10 years. It has produced high school and college players who are using their skills and tools to succeed on and off the court today. Coach Mobilio runs the program out of Newtown Youth Academy. The student athletes will be competing in the Tristate Zero Gravity Circuit this spring. Mobilio helps each student athlete understand the game and learn to play the game as a team. Being both a former college player and college coach, Mobilio has a trained eye for identifying college prospect talent. In his program, he believes that he has some players that are on the path to making their mark at the next level.

 

Antonio DeMoura (2024) 6’2 shooting guard, Pomperaug High (CT) - A high level Scorer. Antonio is strong and attacks the rim well. DeMoura is a high percentage 3 point shooter and takes the right shots, always looking for his teammates.  Very fundamentally sound with a High IQ of the game and is a high academic student athlete. Very coachable, incredible leadership skills that are contagious. Was named All Colonial Honorable Mention. 3.9 GPA

 

Jake Burns (2025) 5’8 combo guard, Pomperaug High (CT) - Two seasons ago, he started varsity as a freshman. This past season he was named All Colonial First Team as a sophomore. He has a high motor and pushes the ball. High level scorer. Handles the ball well in pressure situations. Plays hard on defense and competes on both sides of the floor. Finishes well at the basket. High academic student athlete.


Connor Burns 2025 5’8 point guard, Pomperaug HIgh (CT) - Two seasons ago, he started varsity as a freshman. This past season he was named All Colonial Honorable Mention as a a sophomore. Connor has great composure during full court presses, and he enjoys breaking them. High level ball handler and looks to pass first. Pure point guard that helps the team win. Also has a high motor and plays hard on both ends of the floor. High academic student athlete. 3.9 gpa


Reeve Generali (2025) 5’8 point guard, Pomperaug High (CT) - Reeve is quick and hustles to every loose ball. His energy is non stop and he runs for miles. Plays great defense and shares the ball. High IQ and great teammate.

Jack Gomulinski (2025) 5’11 guard, Pomperaug High (CT) - Jack is athletic and has length and plays great defense. Hustles and is a great teammate. He was named All Colonial Honorable Mention this winter.


Dylan Ciaglia (2025) 6’3 forward, Pomperaug High (CT) - Dylan gets down low and rebounds the ball at a high level. He is very physical and uses his body well. He is a great team player and very coachable. Finishes well around the basket.

 

Nick Tarby (2026) 5’11 guard, Pomperaug High (CT) - Nick has great energy, is young and has to develop but will be a key to the program off the bench. Has a high IQ and can shoot the ball when open.


Jackson Seislove (2024) 6’2 Forward Pomperaug High (CT) - High level rebounder. Shoots the ball well when open. Great defender will add good minutes off the bench. High academic and very coachable.


Tristan Campbell (2024) 5’11 Guard Pomperaug High (CT) - Campbell is very driven and dedicated to improving his game. Most improved player from last year and will be a great assist on defense. Very coachable.


Joe Flanagan (2026) 6’0 Forward Pomperaug High (CT) - Flanagan has a lot of potential and will develop this year by playing with older student athletes. He is strong and is great on defense.


Matt Shupenis (2025) 6’6 Center Nonnewaug High (CT) - Matt is a high level rebounder. Has long length and can block shots. Great on pick and rolls. High IQ and a high academic student athlete. Coach Mobilio is excited to see Matt compete. He will get better and better.
