Nassau Pride Hoops, founded in 2013, is a Long Island-based AAU basketball organization offered for boys and girls of multiple age brackets. Their more experienced teams will compete in many of the top tournaments in the Tri-state area. While the Pride develops enhanced skillsets, they also place a great emphasis on teaching teamwork. 


For 16u play, Coach Ash Vieux has put together a very deep talented team that competed in the Platnum division of Hoop Group last year. His uptempo offensive style coupled with stifling defense has put this squad at the very top of Long Island’s best. His 2023 roster is profiled below.

 

#3 Nic Vieux (2025) 5’9 guard, St Anthony’s High - A tenacious player who can control the pace of the game. He’s a jack-of-all-trades player that can pass, score and grab rebounds.


#6 Tyheem Mills (2025) 5’9 shooting guard, St Anthony’s High - Mills can score in various ways. Shoots it from behind the arch at a very high percentage.


#10 Jesse Roggendorf (2025)  6’0 guard, Great Neck South High - One of the top varsity scoring averages in Nassau County at 18.5ppg game as a sophomore. This kid is on his way to being the complete package.  LongIslandBasketball.com named him the Top Sophomore on Long Island.


#11 Will Casseus (2025) 5’7 point guard, East Meadow High - Casseus is a speedy guard that can create separation and space off the the dribble and get the ball to his teammates.


#13 Isaiah Perkins (2025) 6’2 wing, East Meadow High - An athletic stretch defender who is starting to develop a deadly perimeter game.


#15 Mike Fosorile (2025) 6’3 small forward, Massapequa High - Fosorile is a banger, a physical player who can score, he can take the ball and go coast to coast and solidifies the defense.


#20 Johnny Roggendorf (2025)  6’5 forward, , Great Neck South High - Roggendorf is a lengthy player that shifts between power forward and center He roams the paint, can block or alter shots and rebound. He is continuing to add the outside shooting to his arsenal.


#23 Brendan Cronin (2025) 6’3 small forward, East Meadow High - Cronin is a stretch four that can catch and shoot from distance. Can’t leave this kid open!


#24 Connor Mannix (2025) 6 ‘3 point forward, St Anthony’s High - Mannix is a swing man contributes on both ends of the court. He can score from the inside or outside, handle the ball and rebound.
