2023 Team Underrated 16u Player Profiles

Team Underrated is one of long Island Longest running independent AAU/ Travel programs. It was founded by veteran basketball coach Andre Edwards.


Their 2023 16u team is coached by Coach Edwards and his roster is as follows:


#2 Nisaiah “Nah” James (2024) 6’2 guard, Uniondale High - James has good ball handling skills, can shoot the 3 ball, and gets a large number of steals on defense!


#3 Jeremiah Webb (2025) 6’0 guard, Brentwood High - Webb is shifty point guard, that thrives on going down hill. His handle is top notch, sees the floor well and has very good passing ability. His layup package is tough. He has the ability to make difficult shots while attacking the basket! This athletic guard had a great sophomore campaign in taking his team to the State tournament.


#5 Zeke Morris (2024) 6’3 wing, Valley Stream North High - Morris plays like a Dennis Rodman or Draymond Green. He is a garbage man that can do a little bit of everything. His ability to defend all positions makes him very versatile. Morris can score, bangs with players and rebounds very well


#11 Thierry Lahens (2024) 5’11 guard, Half Hollow Hills East High - Lahens is a smooth combo guard. He plays at his own pace and is very affective. High IQ guard that can help you in many ways. He can handle the ball and shoot it. He also rebounds well for his size


#12 Brandon Varlack (2024) 6’0 guard, Half Hollow Hills East High - Varlack has the ability to affect the game without scoring is his greatest attributes. This athletic guard gets a lot of steals playing in the passing lanes, his ball handling has improved tremendously as well as his jump shot. He’s the younger brother of stud point guard Derek Varlack.


#20 Elijah Pitt (2024) 5’11 guard, North Babylon High - Pitt is a combo guard that has great leadership skills. He can shoot the 3, good ball handling skills and is a willing passer. He’s tough on defense and offense he keeps his teammates involved trying to make the right play. He’s becoming the teams leader and gaining respect from his peers


#23 Sunjay Sharma (2024) 6’3 guard, Half Hollow Hills East High Sharma is probably the teams best shooter! He can really shoot the 3, but his greatest asset is to shoot the mid-range. He’s very good in coming off screens, or attacking the basket! He rebounds the ball well for his position.


#25 Logan Atherly (2024) 6’4 guard, North Babylon High - Atherly has a tremendous upside. He’s long and super athletic. Logan can shoot the 3, has a decent handle and gets a lot of rebounds! He’s a big guard, that’s still trying to figure out out.


#30 Rajveer Gujral (2024) 5’7 point guard, Half Hollow Hills East High - Gujral is a speedy guard that is a tough cover! He’s a tough on the ball defender and handles his own on the defensive end. Gujral can score with the best of them from layups, midrange, 3 ball, and getting out on the break.


Marquise Lloyd (2026) 6’5 small forward Epic South High This freshman who started varsity for ESH. Lloyd is a big guard who impacts the game in a variety of ways. He rebounds, plays defense, can put the ball on the floor and has the ability to make shots. He has a tremendous upside and if he continues to work on his game he will be one of the top players in the city and the country.


Chibuikem Agbasi (2025) 6’4 small forward Agbasiis a solid rebounder and has the ability to


Nathan Basdeo (2026) 5’8 guard, Epic South High Basdeo is freshmen who played varsity for ESH. Basdeo is a sharp shooter who is capable of hitting big shots when needed.
