The Professional Chiller High School Classic Top Performers

On Sunday, RecruitTheBronx.com paid a visit to the Nx Generation Athletics facility in Westbury, Long Island for The Professional Chiller High School Classic, where players from all over New York State came out to show their stuff in a one-day showcase. Here were the standouts from the event:


Hammad Singleton, 5-8, Point Guard, Monroe High School, Road 2 Riches, Class of 2020 -  Singleton is smart at reading defenders and possesses quickness on both ends of the floor. Is superb at creating for himself on offense, and finds multiple ways to get to the basket to score.

 

Shemani Fuller, 6-7, Forward, Cardinal Hayes High School, Road 2 Riches, Class of 2020 - Fuller can do many things on the floor. Is good at getting to the basket and has good hands as far as getting blocks and rebounds. Is a very athletic player that loves to play above the rim. Good at finding ways to get to the basket.

 

Dylan Wusu, 6-3, Shooting Guard, Our Saviour Lutheran High School, Road 2 Riches, Class of 2020 - A Wusu likes to make strong drives to the basket and has plenty of explosion in his game. Is good at getting to the rim and also uses his strength to get rebounds and has a lot of quickness. Loves to run on the fast break.

 

Ibrahim Wattara, 6-4, Forward, Mount St. Michael Academy, Road 2 Riches, Class of 2020 - Wattara is an undersized forward who has a lot of strength and explosion in his game. Loves to run on the fast break and gets to the basket easily. Shows athleticism on both ends of the court, whether it is by blocking shots, getting rebounds and playing above the rim.

 

Daniel Rivera, 6-4, Forward, Our Saviour Lutheran High School, Road 2 Riches, Class of 2021 - Rivera is a physical specimen on both ends of the court, as he is able rebounds and play above the rim. He gives the maximum effort required of him and is a team player. Also has the ability to step out and shoot from the top of the key.

 

Ismar Martinez, 6-2, Shooting Guard, Our Saviour Lutheran High School, Road 2 Riches, Class of 2020 - Martinez has the ability to take over a game with his scoring and can get to the basket in multiple ways. Is able to read his defender and knows where and when to make a move to get to the basket for two. One that is able to create for himself.

 

Kai Woods, 6-5, Shooting Guard, Far Rockaway High School, 518 Elite, Class of 2020 - Woods has a long wingspan and uses his length to outmuscle opponents in the paint. Has the ability to shoot from three-point range and is a very athletic player around the rim.

 

Isaiah Knight, 6-2, Shooting Guard, Lansingburg High School, 518 Elite, Class of 2020 - AKnight has a slick handle and can make smooth moves to the basket and knows where and when to attack. Is very quick and deceptive, which allows him to get past his opponents.

 

Demani Benjamin, 5-10, Point Guard, Green Tech High School, 518 Elite, Class of 2020 - Benjamin likes to run on the fast break and is not afraid to grab rebounds. Has an affinity for attacking the basket. Struggles with shooting consistently from deep, but finds other ways to be effective on the floor.

 

Robert Brown, 6-3, Point Guard, Kimball Union Academy 518 Elite, Class of2022 - Brown has the ability to pass in transition and can make plenty of moves when given the opportunity. Loves to run in transition and has good court vision when on offense, which aids in him distributing the ball to his teammates.

 

Allen Fordham, 6-3, Shooting Guard, Hamilton Hall Academy, 518 Elite, Class of 2020 - Fordham get steals and plays intense defense when needed. Has the ability to find teammates for passes at all times. Likes to shoot from three-point range.

 

Nate Tabor, 6-6 Shooting Guard, Sacred Heart High School (CT), D1 Stars, Class of 2020 - Tabor is an explosive scorer and has a knack for going to the rim. Is a good playmaker that can create for himself and can make strong drives to the basket. Has good size and can see over smaller defenders and can give teammates an opportunity to be involved in the game.

 

Quaran McPherson, 6-3, Shooting Guard, Christ the King High School, D1 Stars, Class of 2020 - McPherson is good at passing the ball and making sure that teammates are flourishing on the court. Is good at driving into the lane and can finish in the open lane and can absorb physical contact when going into the court.

 

Sterling Jones, 5-10, Point Guard, Christ the King High School, D1 Stars, Class of 2021 - Jones knows when and where to shoot the ball. Has the ability to be a great facilitator when it comes to his teammates moving around the court. Loves to run on the fast break and uses his quickness efficiently when it comes to his offensive game and defensive game.

 

DQuan Patterson, 5-9, Point Guard, Brooklyn Democracy Academy, D1 Stars, Class of 2021 - Patterson is a crafty ball handler who likes go run in transition and is a good distributor when it comes to passing the ball. Is a solid defender that can see where the opposition is moving and is prone to forcing others into getting turnovers.


Zed Key, 6-8, Forward, Long Island Lutheran High School, Professional Chillers, Class of 2020 - Key is very strong and is a major presence in the low-post. Is good at attacking the glass for rebounds and playing above the rim. Has great post moves and can also mix and move in the paint area when it comes to him handling the ball. Also, has the ability to block shots.

 

Andres Marrero, 6-4, Shooting Guard, Upper Room Christian School, Professional Chillers, Class of 2021 - A guard that is good at making moves to the basket and can break down his defender with his dribble. Is good at shooting jumpers from the top of the key, but also has good court vision as he can see the floor.

 

Railer Vargas, 6-9, Forward, Upper Room Christian, Professional Chillers, Class of 2020 - Vargas is great at using his size and his body to enforce his presence in the low post. Is a good rebounder and is very athletic when it comes to playing above the rim. Has good hands which allow him to block shots and get rebounds.

 

Kameron Jones, 5-10, Point Guard, West Genesee High School, Professional Chillers, Class of 2020 - Jones is a good floor general and can also score in bunches as he is able to get to the basket easily. Is good at passing the ball and making sure that teammates are where they need to be on the floor at all times. Loves to run on the fast break and has plenty of quickness when going up and down the floor.
