Cheshire Academy College Prospects
Cheshire Academy is a selective, co-educational college preparatory school located in Cheshire, CT. Founded in 1794, it is the tenth oldest boarding school in the United States. At one point in the early to mid 20th century, its mission was to train young men exclusively for the purpose of attending nearby Yale University.
Its boys varsity basketabll team is coached by Jimmy McCarthy and competes in the New England Prep School Athletic Council, Class AA conference. NEPSAC AA is routinely referred to as the toughest high school conference in the the USA and as the place where “college basketball prospects compete with and against other college prospects.” In other words, it has long been a fertile producer and developer of of college basketball players.

Terence Crowley (2021) 6’3 guard - Crowley spent the previous two years at IMG Academy in Florda. He orginally hails from the Republic of Georgia. He is a very good shooterand an excellent athlete. 3.2 gpa.
Max Polk (2021) 6’3 guard - Polk hails from Omaha, NE. He is a a physical, athletic combo guard who can really score. 3.3 gpa. D2 offers and D1 interest.
Max Jusianiec (2021) 6’6 forward. Jusianiec’s dad is the head coach at Alfred State. He is a very skilled and athletic 6’6, who makes 3s and can facilitate for other guys. 3.4 gpa. D2 offers and D1 interest.
Joe Ostrowsky (2021) 6’0 point guard. Ostrowsky’s dad is a college football coach. He is tough, defends, shoots it, and can make plays for others. He just Wins! He went 78-8 in high school. 3.4 gpa. D2 offers.
Niko Petropoulos (2021) 6’0 lefty, combo guard. Petropoulos can shoot it and get in the lane. He has good court vision and passer. 3.8 gpa
Ethan Okwuosa (2021) 6’3 lefty combo guard. Okwuosa is a versatile, athletic, shoots it, can make plays for others, and is a great rebounder. 3.7 gpa. D1 offers and interest.
Cole Wissink (2022) 6’4 wing. Wissink is an athletic, versatile and tough. He is an improving shooter. He projects to be a scholarship level player. 3.9 gpa.
