Eddie Lau is a former college player, college coach and NBA agent. He is also the very successful varsity head coach at Murry Bergtraum High School in Manhattan. In the off season, he runs his Eddie Lau Academy, which includes running AAU teams. Below are the player profiles of his 17u team:

 

Andrew Parrish (2025) 5’11 point guard, Murry Bergtraum High - A pass-first point guard. Can run a team and is a true leader. Parrish is very shifty and can definitely score the ball. Considered to be one of the top guards in NYC.

 

Miles Teixeria (2026) 6’6 forward, Archbishop Stepinac High - Teixera can play both inside and outside. He has a lot of potential. He plays hard and loves to compete. 3.8 gpa

 

Roberto Bloodsworth (2026) 5’9 point guard, Christ the King High - Bloodsworth has a big time motor. He can run a team and guard 94 feet. He is a harassing defender. He shoots the 3 and creates for others.

 

Joel Ofori (2025) 6’7 wing, Murry Bergtraum High - The sky is the limit for Ofori. He is long and athletic, very skilled and can take his defender off of the dribble. He is a big time rebounder. His ability to impact the game will grow as he makes himself stronger. 3.0 gpa


Jayden Lau  (2026) 6’1 point guard, Christ the King High - Team captain and starting point guard. He is averaging 16 points, 5 assists and 4 rebounds while being the coach on the floor.  3 way scorer, who can really shoot the mid range and 3’s, creates for himself and others.He guards the best players. Rebounds well for a guard. 3.6 gpa

 

Matthew D’Agastino (2024) 6’0 combo guard, Christ the King High - Dagastino is a big time shooter, who can also create for himself and others. 3.5 gpa

 

Taquil “JJ” Edmonds (2025) 6’1 combo guard, Murry Bergtraum High - Edmonds is very athletic and can score in every way.

 

Jayden Hernandez (2026) 6’1 point guard, Murry Bergtraum High - Hernandez is a lefty point guard that can also play the 2. He can run a team, and score from both the mid range and with the deep ball.
