DEVELUP is an affiliate of Rossetti Basketball, a renowned Basketball Training company owned by Michael Rossetti and Ralph Rossetti. The Rossetti family has a long-standing reputation of high level basketball training on Long Island, NY for over the past two decades. Their facility is located in Holbrook NY and they train boys/girls as young as Kindergarten all the way up to some of the most notable players in the NBA. DEVELUP is the name of their AAU program that now has almost 30 teams competing with players from all over Long Island. Their Varsity Boys program is headed by Ryan Hickey, a former Division II player at Dowling College and Mercy College. Their staff also includes Hunter Schenkel & George Riefenstahl, two former Division III players at Farmingdale State College. Their top Varsity teams compete in various exposure tournaments along the East Coast of the United States.

 

The Boys Varsity Platinum players are as below:

 

Thomas Matonti (2024) 5’11 PG/SG Kings Park HS (NY) - Thomas is a knock down shooter, but also a selfless player with a high court IQ.  He is a leader on the court with a pure natural scoring ability. Thomas is also a threat to completely change a game with his shooting. Arguably the best shooter on Long Island, he had 69 3’s his Junior season for Kings Park and his gpa is 101.78 (weighted). He also scored a 32 on the ACT.

 

Richie Carmody (2024) 6’2 SG/SF Sayville HS (NY) - Richie can take over a game by scoring from all 3 levels. His strength, size, and quickness make him very versatile on both sides of the ball. He is a great rebounder, who can play both on and off the ball on offense. Richie is coming off his Junior season where he was a top 20 scorer on Long Island averaging 19.5ppg 7rpg and 4apg.

 

Joey Mammolito (2025) 6’0 PG Elwood John Glenn HS (NY) - Joey has outstanding court vision, high basketball IQ, and can really handle/score the ball, which resulted in 12.7 ppg and 4.5 spg in his sophomore season at John Glenn. He can score from the perimeter and break a defender down off the dribble, which makes him a scoring threat anywhere on the floor. Joey was the team captain and was unanimously voted league Rookie of the Year. 4.0 GPA

 

Michael Carmody (2025) 6’4 PG/SG Sayville HS (NY) - Michael has great vision & has the ability to throw some head-turning passes on the court. His height at the PG position allows him to hit his teammates anywhere, anytime on the floor. His size, length, & speed allows him to guard 1-5. He is coming off his sophomore campaign where he averaged 8ppg and 8apg.

 

Joseph Romano (2024) 6’1 PG Kings Park HS (NY) - a crafty lefty point guard with elite court vision. Joe’s ability to run an offense & control the tempo of a game is second to none. His exceptional passing skills allow him to find shooters & slashers all over the court. He is also a phenomenal on-ball defender who leads his team in steals. Currently holds 4.0 GPA.

 

Max Julian (2024) 6’4 SG/SF Shoreham-Wading River HS (NY) - Max is a versatile player who can play on the perimeter or inside the arc. His length and size make him a threat offensively and a defender who can guard all 5 positions on the floor. Max also has great timing and shot blocking ability. He currently holds a 3.5 GPA.

 

Will Meyer (2024) 6’5 SF/PF Northport HS (NY) - a well sized forward with guard skills, who can stretch the floor and guard 1-5. Will has a very high basketball IQ and his teammates love playing with him because of his ability to play off the ball, set screens, and find the open man. Will currently holds a GPA of 3.7

 

Dylan Craig (2025) 5’10 PG/SG Bayport-Bluepoint HS (NY) - Dylan is an explosive guard with incredible athleticism. His speed, agility, & tenaciousness make him a great on ball defender. Dylan has exceptional body movement and a great first step, which makes him very difficult to guard. Going into his Junior season, Dylan will be sure to make some noise with his scoring, ball-handling, and passing ability.

Jake Yourison (2024) 6’3 SF William Floyd HS (NY) - Jake is the definition of toughness and consistency. His ability to guard every position on the floor makes for a coach’s dream. He also consistently guards the opponents best player day-in and day-out. A true competitor and natural mismatch, Jake’s footwork and strength make him incredibly valuable to any roster. Jake currently holds a 4.0 GPA.

 

Jayson Yourison (2024) 6’1 PG/SG William Floyd HS (NY) - a natural shooter who transformed his game to become a threat off the dribble and has the ability to run an offense from the PG position. Jayson has an elite mid-range pull-up & has also developed a very effective floater around the rim. He is a great motivator on the floor for his teammates and currently holds a 4.0 GPA.

 

Lorenzo Beaton (2024) 6’5 PF Ward Melville HS (NY) - uses his big frame to enforce physicality on all of his opponents. A beast on the offensive and defensive glass, Lorenzo is also a great rim protector. A natural athlete with excellent conditioning, he also has a great touch around the rim & above average jumper. Currently holds a 4.0 GPA.

 

Devin Lynch (2024) 6’3 SF/PF Ward Melville HS (NY) - the most coachable player on the floor, Devin is a left-handed forward who is very versatile. With a very athletic build, he is a natural matchup problem for opponents. He is able to knock down the 3 consistently, put the ball on the floor, and finish at the rim with both hands. Consistently focused and very cerebral, holding a 3.4 GPA.

 

Conor Daily (2024) 6’0 PG/SG Port Jefferson HS (NY) - a pass-first PG with high basketball IQ, Conor is also a real 3 point threat. He even knocked down a season-high 7 three point FGs in the playoffs for Port Jefferson. With his strong build, Conor also is able to be physical on defense and disrupt opposing guards. He currently holds a 3.5 GPA.

 

Neelesh Raghurama (2025) 6’2 SG Ward Melville HS (NY) - an explosive offensive talent. Neelesh can consistently knock down the 3 off the catch or off the dribble. His energy on the floor is unmatched and has a lightning quick release. An improved ball handler, Neelesh can get to the rim off the bounce and is an above average finisher. He currently holds a weighted academic average of 96.

 

Eddie Hughes (2024) 6’2 SG Ward Melville HS (NY) - an exceptional 3 point shooter, Eddie has an effortless stroke from the perimeter. He can shoot off the dribble and off the catch, both from long distance. Eddie can also be very shifty, with the ability to get by defenders with the dribble. He has the unique ability to change a game when he gets going from 3.

 

Jack Degen (2026) 6’2 SG Ward Melville HS - the only true freshman on DEVELUP’s Varsity roster, Jack plays with a maturity beyond his years. A high IQ player with the ability to fill it up from distance, Jack also has a great floater that he is able to get to in traffic. On the defensive side of the ball, he uses his length to disrupt opponents. Currently holds a 94 academic average.

 

Adam Gulsen (2025) 5’9 PG William Floyd HS - a young point guard with unlimited amounts of energy. Adam is a menace defending the ball and has incredible lateral quickness. An improved jump shooter, Adam has consistently added to his offensive arsenal with above average finishing ability at the rim. A true athlete and great communicator, Adam is an asset to any squad he is on.

 

Luke Chitkara (2024) 6’0 SG Ward Melville HS - a fantastic student & high IQ player, Luke is a crafty lefty with a very consistent 3 point shot. Luke is very knowledgeable on the floor and has a quick release from the perimeter.
