Coach Sulaiman Larokko started the Tribe AAU program in 2015. During that time, he has helped produce over 50 college student-athletes since then. Most notably are Malik Bentinck (Queens College NCAA D2,NYS All-State 2019), Carl Damour ( Old Westbury NCAA D3, NYS All-State 2019) and Jahdon Jerome (2020 NYS All-State, 1000+ points for a career at Townsend Harris, USCAA D2 Penn State Hazelton). He has kids currently playing on all levels, from JuCo to NAIA to NCAA D1/D2/and D1.

 

Coach Su started coaching in the PSAL as an assistant coach at Pathways College Prep High in 2017, since then, has coached as an assistant at Edison CTE HS and now is at Transit Tech CTE HS.

 

His 2023 United One Tribe roster is as follows

 

Ahmed Ibrahim (2024) 6’7 forward, Eagle Academy Brooklyn - A versatile Forward, can play the 3 and stretch 4 position. Solid post game, footwork and handle. Good passing vision. Excellent rebounder and rim protector. Can shoot the mid range and 3 ball. Can turn away shots. Needs to improve lateral quickness. Average 21ppg and 16rpg as a junior.

 

Andrew Leonard (2025) 6’1 guard, Townsend High Shoots real well from deep. College range shooter. Shoots the mid range real well. Has the ability to beat defenders off the dribble and can finish well at the rim. Not afraid to rebound and get in the mix. Solid defender with a solid motor. Averaged 17ppg as a sophomore this past season and 25ppg in the playoffs.

 

Chris Destine (2025) 6’0 oint guard, W.T Clarke High Real strong two way guard. Plays tough on defense. Strong crafty finisher at the rim. Very solid midrange game and can knock down the 3 ball consistently. Excellent vision and solid play making ability. Can create for himself and others. Solid rebounding guard. Multi-sport athlete.

 

Kai Destine (2026) 5’9 guard, W.T Clarke High Physically strong rising sophomore guard with a lot of potential. Streaky shooter from midrange and three. Fearless defender. Multi-sport athlete.

 

Ashton Reynolds (2024) 6’4 guard Transit Tech High Super athletic two-way combo guard. Excellent rebounder and shot blocker. Is developing point guard skills. Reads the floor well and has solid court vision. Can shoot the 3-ball, mid range and an athletic high flying rim finisher.


Trevon Powell (2024) 5’10 guard, Transit Tech Super fast, really strong guard. Tough rebounder with a high motor. Relentless defender. Easy fast break finisher. Fast with the ball but even faster without.

 

Khoury Mason (2025) 6’3 wing, Edison High Lengthy lefty with a ton of upside. Can defend multiple positions. Streaky shooter from 3. Can finish well through contact and on fast breaks.


Nick Jackson (2027) 6’1 guard Transit Tech High Incoming freshman with a super high motor. Can shoots with confidence plays hard every game. Very active defender. Solid IQ and knows his way around the court.


Chu Agbasi (2024) 6’4 small forward, Edison High Solid big body Stretch 4. Can shoot the 3 and midrange. Solid rebounder and on ball defender. Quick feet and quick hands for his size.


Kamare Sutherland (2024) 6’4 wing, Pathways Academy Long arms, uses length to his advantage defensively. Averaged a double double as a Jr. Can shoot really well and rebound well.


Khalid Ahmad (2024) 6’1 guard, QSI 2024 Nice spot up shooter from 3. Solid rebounder and defender. Plays with a lot of effort and has a solid motor. Very strong can finish with contact.


Jason Hicks (2024) 6’3 guard, Transit Tech High Lengthy two-way combo guard. Can defend well and fights for rebounds. Can shoot the college 3 and a crafty finisher at the rim.


Jadyn Wilson (2024) 6’7 Transit Tech High forward Developing into a solid rim protector and rebounder. Has the ability to turn away shots and rebounds well on both ends. Can shot 12 footers and can rim run effectively.


James Elder (2024) 5’11 guard, Believe Prep Lightning quick good court vision and tight handle with the basketball. Relentless on ball defender. Plays hard every possession. Lights out Midrange is his best asset. Can shoot the 3. Averages 12ppg 4 rebounds and 6 assist for his senior year.


Alejandro Diaz (2024) 6’1 guard, 238 Academy Can play both the PG and SG. Very steady pace and IQ. Consistent shooter, had multiple games with 5+ threes in his senior season at Edison this past season. Has college range but can shoot the midrange efficiently when used. Knocked down 50+ threes in league play and 20+ in non league play.
