​St Francis Prepatory School is based in Queens, 150 years old and is the the largest private Catholic secondary school in the United States. It’s varsity basketball team competes in the Catholic High School Athletic Association,  Brooklyn-Queens AA Division. Head coach Jimmy Lynch will be entering his seventh year at the helm. Below are his players for 2023-24:



Tyler Michel (2024) 6’4, 185lb wing – Breakout year coming, started every game last season, has played in several big games, potential All City player, shoots the three, defends best wing, hearing from D2 and D3 schools, high academic.


Nolan Raymond (2024) 5’10, 185lb guard – Spent entire summer in the gym, has improved quickness and body, will see increased minutes, high academic.


Peter Douvres (2024) 6’3, 180lb guard – High academic senior who should see increased minutes, shoots the ball well from the perimeter, will be asked to defend and rebound more.


Elijah Darby (2024) 6’8, 210lb forward – A transfer from Freeport, adds size to the roster, will improve with daily practices, could be major factor by end of season.


Vere Anthony (2025) 6’1, 185lb guard – One of the best guards in NYC, holds an offer from Manhattan and will get more, has started for two years as Terriers point guard, ultimate competitor and winner, gym rat, works on game constantly, should have been All City last season, will be this season.


Nigel Moore (2025)  6’2, 180lb guard – Started every game a season ago and could be the player that puts the Terriers over the top, lightning quick hands, nose for the ball, tremendous upside, with added size and strength is going to be one of the best guards in the league.


Hao Chen (2025) 6’5, 190lb small forward – It will be his third season with the Varsity, injury bug got him last season, can step out with range, improved perimeter defender, high academic.


Tommy Zullo (2025) 6’0, 175lb guard– Played JV last season where he averaged over 20ppg., quarterback of the football team, makes sense he’s an excellent passer, will compete for minutes.


Conor Griffin (2025) 6’1, 175lb guard – Griffin played on the JV last season, excellent shooter, high academic.


Troy Fason Jr (2026) 6’0, 185lb – The best athlete in the school, came off bench as a Frosh and should start this season, another Terrier guard who can drive opposing players crazy, fearless, was MVP of just about every summer league/tournament he played in, gets to the basket and finishes.


Oesoemana Sacko (2026) 6’7, 215lb small forward – Sacko had a breakout season a year ago, most upside in the Terrier program, terrific hands and feet, can dominate inside and out, posts, shoots the three, outstanding passer, holds offers from LIU and Bryant, just scratching the surface of his potential.


Ethan Butler (2026) 6’6, 185lb – A transfer from Dwight, does a little bit of everything, rebounds, defends, shoots, handles it, high IQ, improves daily, major upside, once he gets comfortable in new setting will add depth to lineup.


Keiji Clifton (2026) 6’5, 180lb – Clifton comes back to Queens after living in Kentucky, will add perimeter shooting to a lineup who can already shoot it with anyone, will develop during the season playing against good players daily.


Kailin Villfort (2026) 6’5, 180lb small forward – Villfort played on the Frosh team last season where he lead team in rebounds.


Joe Nunez (2026) – 6’1, 165lb guard – Nune played on the Frosh team last season, crafty offensive player, bright future ahead.


Gio Moran (2027) 5’11, 170lb point guard – the next great Terrier guard, can run a team, defends, terrific instincts, could be factor late in season after competing against veteran guards each day.
