2023-24 Windsor High Season Preview

Windsor High School is a Hartford county (CT) public school that is known for being very competitive in all sports. Windsor competes in the Central Connecticut Conference which is one of the state’s top public school conferences in basketball. Windsor coach Ken Smith knows a thing or two about high level high school basketball players. For the past 35 years, he has made WHS a major force in CIAC basketball, including multiple state championships.

 

Coach Smith’s a very deep and successful roster will be drawn from the following players:

 

Anthony Williams (2024) 6’7 guard - Coming off a broken leg from 6 months ago, and playing better than ever, Coach Smith feels that Williams has the physical gifts, basketball skills and grades to play where ever he wants to in college. Last year, he averaged 15ppg, 7 rpg, and 2 assists. Earned the teams most double-doubles last year. 3.6 gpa

 

Jakeel Martin (2024) 6’0 guard - Martin is very explosive and averaged 13 ppg, 5 rpg, and 2 steals last year.  3.6 gpa


Kaiden James (2024) 6’1 guard - James averaged 8ppg and 3 steals last year. He should have a big year. 3.4 gpa


Gyan Davis (2025) 6’8 wing - Davis is very skilled, and is also expected by Coach Smith to have a have good run this season. He averaged 8ppg, 5reb, 2blks last year.


Sean Evans (2024) 6’0 guard - Evans is a high academic, returning from a 10 ppg, and 4 rpg season from last year. 4.0 gpa


Josiah Fortson (2024) 6’2 guard -  Fortson is both a good shooter and a defender.


Jerimiah Levitan (2026) 6’6 forward - This youngster works very hard, which bodes well, and is already a force on the boards.


Jaheim Franklin (2026) - Franklin is new arrival to Windsor, impact player with a bright future.

Ji Gary (2027) 


Missoni Brown (2027)  6’0 guard - Gary and Brown, although only freshmen, are both expected to be impact players, which clearly signals a bright future for them.


Aaron Bethea (2024) 6’4 forward


Kyle McKeithan (2024) 6’4 guard


Myles Rush (2026) 6’4 forward


Adam Adofalo 6’5 forward
