Kellenberg Memorial High School is a Roman Catholic college-preparatory school in Uniondale, New York, on Long Island, with over 2,500 students attending. The school is named in honor of Rev. Walter P. Kellenberg, the founding Bishop of the Diocese of Rockville Centre in the 1960s.


The boys varsity basketball team competes in the Nassau-Suffolk Section of the Catholic High School Sports Association. The team is coached by their Assistant Director of Guidance, and former basketball MVP alum Chris Lyons.


The profiles on his his key players are as follows:


Stephen Kiernan (2025) 6’3 guard. Kiernan is sneaky athletic, and is a really tough kid on both ends of the floor.  He scores at all three levels. Through first seven games of this season, he is averaging 14 ppg, 8rpg and 3apg. 3.7 gpa


Jack Geoghan (2025) 6’3 guard. Geoghan does everything for Kellenberg. He is super athletic and plays the full 94 feet. He is getting more comfortable and confident, after getting past the football season related delay in the start of his hoops season. Through the first 7 games, he is averaging 10ppg, 7rpg, 4apg, and 2bpg.  4.0 gpa


Joe Burke (2026) 6’2 guard. Burke is one of the best shooters in the NSCHSAA. He is getting stronger off the bounce and further developing his offensive skills. 4.0 gpa

 

Jordan Leach (2025) 6’0 guard - Leach is a Newsday Top 100 player selection on Long Island. He is capable of scoring 20+ each game. He needs to get more consistent, but has the skill level to get by to the rim, pull up in the paint, and knock down 3’s. He is also a and rebound and go weapon. 3.3 gpa
