The Dream NYC Team philosophy is to focus on guiding kids to play smart, team-oriented basketball with a teaching emphasis on teamwork, defensive pressure, offensive ball movement, and in-game strategy that they believe will serve their players well in high school and beyond.  Based in Queens, NY, Dream NYC is led by Head Coach Danny Kiernan, St. Francis Prep girls varsity coach.


Justin Vital (2029) 5’8 guard – versatile, hard-working, combo guard who stuffs stat sheets.  Tenacious defender who guards 1-5 and is usually tasked with stopping the opponents top player. Very effective ball handler at full speed, in open space, and against the press. Cobra-like slasher who gets to the basket with ease. Pass first instincts, high IQ, and wants to win. 


Mason Beato 5’2 (2029) point guard – deadly shooter with deep range.  Leads the half-court offense and is adept at finding open space for his shot.  Mentally tough guard who understands game flow and strategically dictates pace.  Uses crafty ball handling and change of speed when penetrating to the basket.  Scores in bunches from all levels.  Very effective in pick and roll. 


Maverick Foreman (2029) 5’2 guard – versatile combo guard who does everything on the court. Strong rebounder, 3 level scorer w deep range, vocal team leader with high IQ. Strong on ball defender who picks up 94’.  Uses quick first step and speed around the corner to shift defenses and create shots for his teammates. Skilled at drawing contact and makes FTs. 


Amir Williams (2029) 6’0 guard/forward – physically gifted, strong, and quick-footed small forward who seeks out contact on offense.  Slashing scoring who can get to the hole consistently on one dribble from the wing or high post and can make shots.  Full offensive bag and finishes well.  Uses strength and foot speed to effectively guard positions 3-5.  Strong rebounder.


Michael Beasley Jr. (2029) 6’3 center – imposing left-handed rim protector with a soft touch around the hoop.  Physically gifted center who rotates well on defense and consistently blocks or alters shots while playing help D. Developing offensive game in the post, and has a soft touch from 12-15’. Keeps the ball high when pivoting in post.  Runs the floor well. 


Markei Beasley (2030) 5’10 forward – developing wing who is new to the game.  Moves well without the ball and is a consistent shooter from mid-range. Uses length and athleticism to actively pursue offensive rebounds.


Ayden Dancy (2029) 4’10 point guard – shifty, lightning-quick floor general who is an abject nuisance on defense.  Disrupts offenses with his on-ball D and has earned the nickname: “1 Man Press”. Tight ball handling in traffic to create space for his midrange jumper & floater.  Good vision and uses quickness and speed to shift defenses and create shots for his teammates.


Dwayne Trail (2029) 6’3 center/forward - imposing left-handed center who finishes strong at hoop. Very coachable and soaks up instruction.  Physically gifted, sprints the floor well on offense & defense, and consistently blocks or alters shots.  Effective offensive game in the post, and a developing shot from 12-15’.  Consistently plays with tenacity, aggression, and a smile.


Chase Gallant (2028) 6’1 guard/forward – balanced wing with the ability to score from all levels.  Consistent mid-range and 3 point shooter, confident ball-handler who can get to the whole from the wing, skilled in scoring from pick and roll options.  Leverages his speed and length to successfully finish on fastbreaks and create mismatches. Capable of guarding 2-4 on D. 


Jai Morgan (2028) 5’5 guard – balanced combo guard who plays aggressive defensive, and can score effectively from all 3 levels.  Solid 3 point shooter from the wing, good ball handler in traffic who uses strength and speed to get to the basket.  Tenacious on ball defender who is all energy all the time, picks up 94’ and consistently creates turnovers. 


Nathan Daye (2029) 6’0 guard /forward – Great offensive and defensive rebounder with good shot blocking.  Solid ballhandler and he gets up and down the court well. Utilizes his strength to be effective in the post and can step out and shoot the mid-range with consistency.  High bball IQ and always high energy on the floor.  Very coachable and a great teammate.
