Team NYC 16u Player Profiles
Team NYC, an organization founded over a decade ago on the behalf of student athletes who were once overlooked but went on to excel in Division 1 and Division 2 basketball. The team was formed to provide to parents and players guidance, opportunities and an education in grassroots basketball. Archbishop Molloy Varsity Assistant Coach, Donald Francois is the founder and director of the Team NYC program. He also runs Gimme Five Worldwide Summer Camp, that is a known for rigorous and effective training. He is also a player scout for Division I colleges.

Josh Powell (2026) 6’5 shooting guard, Archbishop Molloy High - Powell was the CHSAA 2023-24 scoring leader as a sophomore. He is recognized as one of the top-ranked players in the United States. Known for his deadly shot and impactful offensive presence, Powell possesses unlimited potential. He is a player who can change the game with his consistent shooting ability, known for turning the game around with his hot shooting at any given moment.
Myles Miller (2026) 6’3 shooting guard, Archbishop Molloy High - Miller is a defensive ace known for his laser focus on shutting down opponents on the court. He uses his good sized frame to his advantage at both ends. He is a threat from beyond the arc and excels in mid-range shots with remarkable consistency. It is anticipated that he will have a standout spring and summer leading into his junior year, and is projected to make a significant impact next year as a player for Archbishop Molloy.
Nolan Gomez (2027) 6’2 guard, Archbishop Molloy High - Nolan is a freshman basketball player who made a significant impact during his the Molloy JV team this past winter. He is recognized as a pure shooter. His potential for growth and contribution at the varsity level is immense. He has a remarkable basketball IQ, which positions him as a player to watch out for as he continues to elevate his game.
Sean Rojas (2026) 6’1 guard Archbishop Molloy High - Rojas is a skilled basketball player known for his exceptional shooting skills that can change the game. He is praised for his leadership qualities, often seen as a coach on the court. A player to watch.

Sincere Ferguson (2027) 6’4 small forward, John Bowne High - Ferguson is an impressive freshman with a towering presence, displays immense potential on the court. His size, long arms, and finishing skills hint at a bright future ahead. With further experience, he is poised to become a highly impactful player, making waves with his talent and determination.
