The New Haven Heat is a highly regarded developer of college-bound talent in the basketball rich Greater New Haven, CT region. Doc Kennedy runs the program and coaches their 17u Made Hoops circuit level team.

Que Duncan (2025) 6’4 guard - Duncan is an elite Shooter, high IQ, playmaker. Pure bucket getter. One of the smoothest games in New England with pro level moves. Per Coach Kennedy, he is one of the hardest workers around. Averaged 13ppg and 5 rebs for the NEBL and Power 5 Champs, Putnam Science. Holds D1 offers, including Quinnipiac. 3.3 gpa


Zaire Lott (2024) 6’6 small forward - Lott’s elite athleticism helps him protect the rim on defense and play above the rim on offense. This two time CIAC All State wing was a top 3 point shooters in the CIAC for the last two years. He also rebounds at a high level.


Antoine “Butta” Williams (2025) 6’0 point guard - Williams is the starting point guard playing in the highest of prep school ball at Putnam Science. Averaged 11pts, 4Ast, 2stl a game for the NEBL and Power 5 Champs.  He has a lightning quick first step and change of direction driving his tight handle skills. He is a pass first playmaker who can get into the lane easily. He can also shoot and get to the rim, when that is the best option. He will also pick pockets on the opponent’s primary ball handler. 3.5 gpa


Brandon “Bizzy” Beamon (2024/25) 6’6 small forward, Wilby High - Beamon can guard 1-4. He is also athletic and effective in getting to the rim for a score. He is CIAC All State player who is looking for Post Grad program. Bizzy is an elite slasher and that can also spread the court and post up. Beamon is the definition of a glue guy; every team needs a guy like that. An 1,000 points scorer, who averaged 23pts and 7rebs. Holds a scholarship offer from D2 Franklin Pierce.  2.9 gpa


Lebron Beckford 6’1 (2024/25) shooting guard, Newington High - Beckford is a sharp shooter, with next level athleticism and the the ability to score at all levels. He was named first team All Conference, averaging 17ppg 4ast. He does all the little things on the court and plays hard 24/7. He graduates high school this spring, and is planning to enhance his exposure and development by becoming a post grad prospect in the 2025 class.


Adrian “AJ” Shepard (2026) 6’4 guard, Rocky Hill Day School (RI) - Shepard is the youngest on the team but he belongs. First Team All SENE, First Team All NEPSAC Class C, averaging 18 ppg 6.7 rpg and 1.28 spg. He already has a college-ready body, running on a high motor. He is an elite slasher but he can also spread the court with his deep ball shooting. He is also a lock-down defender and rebounds with a passion. On the front end of building a very special career. 3.2 gpa

 

Eli Limric (2024/25) 6’6 guard, Watkinson School (CT) - Limric is a sharpshooter both on the catch and off the dribble. First Team All NEPSAC Class C, averaged 21 points, 5.5 threes a game and 5 rebounds. Beyond his shooting ability, Limric also does all the little things that makes a team win. Can defend 2-4 and one of the better wing rebounders. His IQ for the game makes things easier for himself and his teammates around him. 3.3 gpa
           

Xavion Faison (2025) 6’8 forward, Winchendon School NYC - Faison is a stretch forward that can handle and shoot the long ball. He uses his good athleticism to be a rim protector.


Gyan Davis (2025) 6’8 forward, Windsor High - Davis is a physical beast in the paint. He averaged a double double for the CIAC state champs Windsor High. He had games with 20+ rebounds. He jumps out the gym, and has a with a nice soft touch.


Nasir Williams (2025) 6’4 guard, Mt. Zion Prepartory Academy (MD) - Williams is a high IQ, big guard who knows how to use his body. He ha great vision and playmaking ability. He knows how to run the offense and helps on the rebounding.


Jair Mathis (2024/25) 5’11 point guard, Hamden High (CT) - Mathis missed his past high school season, while recovering from injury. He should be back in July for the Live Periods. He is a lightning quick guard with a high IQ. He knows how to hit the gaps to create for others and is a very crafty scorer.  He also defends on a high level 94 feet.

 

Michael Singleton (2024/25) 6’0 point guard, Sacred Heart High (CT) - Singleton is a guard that college coaches can use. He can find his teammates, dribble, shoot, and is a leader.


Allyn Wright (2025) 6’0 point guard, St George’s School (RI) - A high IQ, pass-first point guard that can get a bucket as needed. Colleges should tap into this NEPSAC AA honed talent.


Travis Upchurch ( 2025) 5’10 point guard, Notre Dame-West Haven (CT) - Upchurch
has bounce, can dribble and can get his teammates the ball 2023-24 COAC State Champion.
