2024 Connecticut Elite 17u - Perrier Player Profiles

Connecticut Elite is the largest premier youth basketball and development program in Connecticut. Their 2024 17u HGSL team is coached by Albertus Magnus College Assistant coach and Elite 50 Showcase operator, Jason “JP” Perrier, and below is his roster.


Ryan Tolliver (2025) 6’7 wing, Northwest Catholic High (CT) -  Tolliver is a do-it-all wing with play making and shot making ability and athleticism to match. A floor stretcher with his 3 ball. He gets into shots quickly. He rotates well on the defensive end. IVY and Patriot League programs will love his 3.9 gpa.


Paul Forster (2025) 6’7 forward, Weston High (CT) - Forester is a forward who can stretch the floor from 15ft out. Runs the floor, blocks shots and rebounds at a high level. A high academic D3 coach’s dream and he has a ton more room for growth.


Avery Sutton (2025) 6’5 small forward - Sutton is an athletic and long guard who can play the point but also be a 3&D guy. He gets to his spots, is an improved shooter. Receiving interest from IVY League schools with his 3.9 gpa.


Raheem Murray (2025) 6’1 guard, Pioneer Academy (NJ) - Murray is a big, physical guard with a college-ready build, speed and craftiness with the ball and deadeye shooting that’s able to break open games. He is also a tone setter with the energy and defensive tenacity he brings.


Jared Coleman (2025) 6’7 center, Hillhouse High (CT) - Coleman is a traditional back-to-the-basket big man that utilizes his 280lb frame to punish defenders. He also has the ability to stretch the floor and knock down 3s.

 

Xavier Goode (2026) 6’0 guard, Fitch High (CT) - Goode is a talented guard that does not shy away from big moments, with the ability to score and facilitate. He also plays with at a smooth pace and makes the right decisions with the basketball.


Dominick LaDuca (2025) 5’9 point guard, Putnam Science Academy (CT) - LaDuca is a pesky on-ball defender known for his shifty moves and strength. His ability to score through traffic adds another dimension to his game.

 

Alex Johnson (2025) 6’2 guard, The Bright School (CT) - Johnson has quick and efficient shooting mechanics, which helps him beat close-outs in his three point shooting. He can also attack the close-outs with a strong drive and good change of direction abilities. He proved these facts this winter in the high level, pre-college level of play that is the Power 5 AA prep school conference.

 

Thomas Glover Jr. (2025) Springfield Commonwealth Academy (MA) - Glover is an aggressive combo guard with the ability to score at all three levels and play above the rim. A good on ball defender who brings a lot of toughness to the game.


Jared Smith (2025) 6’7 small forward, Redemption Christian Academy - Smith is a high motor wing who brings athleticism and scoring at all 3 levels. He’s a great defender and uses his length to alter shots on the defensive end.  D1 Prospect. 4.0 gpa


Nazir Williams (2025) 6’4 small forward, Mt Zion Prep (MD) - A Hartford, CT native, Williams has a physical frame, plays with toughness and can make perimeter shots.  3.8 gpa
