2024 Nike EYBL Session 3 Standouts

On Saturday, May 18, we traveled to the Pacers Athletic Center out in Westfield, IN for Session 3 of the Nike EYBL Three programs from the New York City area, PSA Cardinals, New Heights Lightning and the New York Rens, plus upstate New York’s City Rocks and New England’s Expressions Elite we’re playing. This spring all five teams have been making their push towards the Nike EYBL Peach Jam, which is the national championship that takes place in mid-July in North Augusta, SC.


Here are the standouts from those teams at the event:


Keyshuan Tillery, 6-1, Point Guard, New Hampton School (NH), School, Albany City Rocks, , Class of 2025 - A guard that possesses cat-like quickness and has the ability to control the tempo of the offense when he’s on the floor. Is able to get past the defense with his speed and can get to the basket with ease. Is able to showcase his athleticism when the lane is open on offense.


Tahlan Pettway, 6-0, Point Guard, MacDuffie School (MA), Albany City Rocks, Class of 2025 - A guard that has great court awareness and is great at controlling the tempo for his team on the floor. Is quick and deceptive and is able to create for himself on the offensive end and is able to make shots on the perimeter. Is also willing to go crash the boards at all times.


Nasir Rodriguez, 6-4, Shooting Guard, Northfield Mount Hermon School (MA), New York Rens, Class of 2025 - A guard that has plenty of toughness and is able to hold his own on the court. Is able to use his physicality to box out for rebounds and is able to drive to the basket efficiently and finish strongly. Is able to make his presence felt on the floor with his toughness, which is key to his team.


Halon Rawlins 6-6, Forward, Nazareth High School, New York Rens, Class of 2025 - A forward that is able to put the ball on the floor and attack in transition. Has a penchant for using his physicality to obtain rebounds and is very fearless in crucial moments. Is a solid defednder that is great at sticking with his man on the floor.


Christian Jeffrey, 6-3, Shooting Guard, Mount Zion Academy (MD), New Heights Lightning, Class of 2025 - A guard that always looks to do his part on the offensive end for his team. Is good at pushing the ball up the court and distributing to his teammates at all times. Has a penchant for attacking the basket and finishing efficiently on the court.


Preston Fowler 6-8, Forward, Brewster Academy (NH), New Heights Lightning, Class of 2025 - A forward that is a huge asset to his team, as he is able to showcase his versatility while also being able to do post work on the offensive end. Has the ability to shoot from three-point range and can put the ball on the floor. Is known for his ability to box out in order to obtain rebounds.


Amari Evans 6-5, Shooting Guard, Overtime Elite, New Heights Lightning, Class of 2025 - A guard that is known for scoring in bunches and is always ready to attack when on the offensive end. Brings plenty of grit and tenacity to his team and it shows on the defensive end. Likes to drive to the basket and is a great finisher that also finds a way to get to the free-throw line.


Kayden Mingo 6-2, Shooting Guard, Long Island Lutheran High School, PSA Cardinals, Class of 2025 - A guard that has a penchant for making his presence felt on both ends of the court. When he has the ball in his hands, he is able to make certain decisions and can create for himself when he has the ball in his hands. Has a nice shooting touch from three-point range and can also drive to the basket and finish efficiently.


Darius Adams 6-5, Shooting Guard, La Lumiere School (IN), PSA Cardinals, Class of 2025 - A guard that has the ability to make his presence felt on the court and is able to be a force on the offensive end. Is able to get past his an ad is able to break through defenses and finish at the basket with strength. Is able to hustle his way to the lane to obtain rebounds.


London Jemison 6-8, Forward, St. Thomas More School, Expressions Elite, Class of 2025 - A forward that is able to make slick moves and find ways to get open. Has a nice shooting touch from three-point range and is able to move around on the court. Is able to drive to the basket and can finish efficiently when going up to score and can showcase his athleticism by throwing down powerful dunks.


Jaylen Harrell, 6-6, Shooting Guard, C.A.T.S Academy (MA), Expressions Elite, Class of 2025 - A guard that is very skilled and knows how to get his shot off efficiently. Has great footwork and is able to hold his own with certain moves on the perimeter and has the ability to shoot off of a fadeaway. Is able to move around off the ball and get open so that he can shoot from log range. Uses his physicality to absorb contact and finish efficiently.


Dwayne Aristode, 6-7, Forward, Brewster Academy (NH), Expressions Elite, Class of 2025 - A forward that has a penchant for showcasing his athleticism and has a long wingspan that aids him in obtaining rebounds. Has a nice shooting touch from the mid-range area or three-point range. Has the ability to drive to the basket and can finish in a solid manner when it comes to making a contested layup.
