2024 MADE Hoops East Summer Clash Standouts

On Sunday afternoon, July 7, we swung over to the Sportika Sports facility in Manalapan, New Jersey for the MADE Hoops East Summer Clash. This was an event for many of the grassroots programs as a prelude for the NCAA July Live Period. Here are some of the standouts from the event from the New York City and New England areas:
Brandon Margolin 6-5, Small Forward, Xaverian High School, Rising Stars, Class of 2025 - A forward that has plenty of strength and is a force in many ways for his team. Is able to control the middle on the defensive end and is able to run on the offensive end and put the ball on the floor while looking to make a play. Is able to drive to the basket and finish strong in the lane.
Carter Wilson 6-1, Point Guard, Bay Shore High School, Rising Stars, Class of 2025 - A guard that has the ability to see the floor and has a penchant for being a true playmaker on the floor. Is able to watch his teammates move around and then set them up for scoring opportunities with his distribution of the ball. Is able to hit midrange jumpers and also finish strongly at the basket.
Stanley Dhondt 6-7, Forward, Xaverian High School, Rising Stars, Class of 2025 - A forward that likes to run and is able to stay active when on the floor. Is able to move around off the ball and is able to get free and open as a way to get his shot off efficiently. Is able to outwork the opposition in the low post when it comes to obtaining rebounds.
Kamryn Salters 6-2, Shooting Guard, Notre Dame-Fairfield High School, Rens United (CT), Class of 2025 - A guard that is very strong and agile and can hold his own on the court. Is able to stick with his man on the defensive end and is able to get to loose balls when the oppprtunity presents itself. Is able to attack the glass and is able to drive to the basket and finish strongly.
Warren Keel, Jr. 5-10, Point Guard, Putnam Science Academy, Mass Rivals, Class of 2026 - A guard that is able to patrol his team and will try to make sure that his team is successful when making certain plays. Is able to distribute the ball and make sure that his teammates have opportunities to score. Is able to control the tempo of the game & can slow it down to his liking. Is able to drive to the basket and finish efficiently with layups or floaters.
Sebastian Wilkins 6-8, Forward, Brewster Academy (NH), Mass Rivals, Class of 2026 - A forward that has good hands and uses it to his advantage whenever he’s near the boards. Is able to put the ball on the floor and post up on a smaller defender and turn around and shoot. Is able to get his shot off efficiently, especially when it comes to being free and open on the wing. Is able to drive to the basket & finish efficiently.
Brandon Lee 6-4, Shooting Guard, The Patrick School (NJ), New York Rens, Class of 2025 - A guard that has the ability to hold his own on the court in various ways. Has a penchant for shooting at a high volume, as he is able to shoot from long range. Has the ability to drive to the basket and can finish efficiently. Has the ability to crash the boards and obtain rebounds.
Jermel Thomas 6-2, Point Guard, Cardinal Hayes High School, New York Rens, Class of 2026 - A guard that has the ability to take over a game with his ability to control the tempo of a game with his ballhandling ability. Is able to find his teammates in the right places so that there can be scoring opportunities for them. Is fearless when going to the basket and is a strong finisher.
Vere Anthony 6-0, Point Guard, St. Francis Preparatory High School, New York Rens, Class of 2025 - A guard that had the ability to be a playmaker and a player that will go all out for his team by any means necessary. Has the ability to play tough defense on his man and is prone to obtaining steals and forcing turnovers. Is able to find his teammates on the break, as they plan to streak to the basket or pull up for a jumper. Has a nice shooting touch and has the ability to drive to the basket.
Nasir Rodriguez 6-6, Small Forward, Northfield Mount Hermon School, New York Rens, Class of 2025 - A forward that has the ability to be a force for his team at all times, as he brings plenty of energy when he’s on the floor. Has the ability to crash the boards for rebounds and is always ready to use his defense to his advantage. Is able to drive to the basket and finish strongly.
Anthony Williams 6-5, Small Forward, Putnam Science Academy, New York Jayhawks, Class of 2025 - A forward that has the ability to make his presence felt in the low-post area and can also put the ball on the floor and drive into the lane. Is able to showcase his athleticism and has a penchant for throwing down dunks when going up for two. Has the ability for obtaining rebounds when on the defensive end at all times.
Kenneth Bartlett, Jr. 5-10, Point Guard, Eagle Academy III, New York Jayhawks, Class of 2025 - A guard that has a penchant for making great plays on the offensive end. Has the ability to showcase his speed as he is able to get down court easily and will zoom to the basket with ease. Has a penchant for making showcasing his athleticism when driving to the basket.
