2024 Team Ready Player Profiles

Ready Inc. is a small non profit, charitable organization headquartered in New Haven, CT. It is organized to provide educational assistance and recreation for disengaged youth in the Greater New Haven region. Several years ago, it added a grassroots basketball program under the name of Team Ready. They are currently as competing at 16u and 17u levels. The team is coached by Aaron Johnson, Sr. His players are profiled below.
Aaron Johnson Jr. (2026) 6’2 shooting guard, West Haven High (CT) - Johnson is a pure shooter who has unlimited range as well. Great rebounder and shot blocker to be a guard. Also plays the passing lanes and has a very good feel for the game.
Quincy Dormevil (2026) 6’2 combo guard, Notre Dame-West Haven High (CT) - Dormevil has great size and can play both the 2 and 3 positions. Played some point guard this past season for his AAU team and was very solid. Has a great midrange game and great feel for the game.
Jonathan Jones (2026) 6’4 small forward, Notre Dame-West Haven High (CT) - Jones is an elite rebounder and has a knack for the ball. Unselfish big man that does all the little things. Underrated post player as well.
Efrain Brown (2026) 6’3 small forward, Platt High (CT) - Brown is a matchup nightmare who is physically gifted. Has great footwork and a solid medium range game. Has the ability to post up smaller guys and also play on the perimeter against bigger guys.
Brandon Bellamy (2026) 5’9 point guard, West Haven High (CT) - Bellamy is an intelligent point guard who can run an offense but also score when needed. Can shoot the long ball and has a good pull up jump shot. His assist to turnover ratio is something to be noted as well.
Tyjhaun Rogers (2026) 5’11 point guard, Hillhouse High (CT) - Rogers is a creative scoring guard who can get his own shot but can also create for his teammates. Made the transition from forward to point guard this past season and carried it over into his AAU season.
Tyrell Bryant (2026) 5’9 shooting guard, Notre Dame-West Haven High (CT) - Bryant is a gifted shooter who can get hot at any time. He’s very tough for an undersized guard. With more opportunities at the high school level, he should improve even more.
Eddie Edwards (2026) 5’9 combo guard, Amistad High (CT) - Edwards is a high energy guys who plays at a high level every day. He can guard any position and can be used many ways offensively.
Justus Richardson (2026) 5’10 point guard, West Haven High (CT) - Richardson is an electric guard with amazing ball handling skills and very difficult to guard. He’s at his best in transition being the fastest guard on the court all the time.
Elijah Brady (2025) 6’3 combo guard, West Haven High - Brady can score at all levels, his ability to create his own shot and score consistently puts him in a good position to be successful. He’s one of the best players in his class that many don’t know about.
