2024 Nike EYBL Peach Jam Top Performers

This past week ending July 21, we continued our visits to the big Southern AAU Live Period tournaments, by getting to the Riverview Park Activities Center in North Augusta, South Carolina for the Nike EYBL Peach Jam. This event is the undisputed national championship for the teams of Nike EYBL circuit. Throughout the week, we got to check out all four of New York’s teams that were on the circuit. Here are the standouts from that action:


Christian Jeffrey 6-3, Point Guard, Mount Zion Academy (MD), New Heights Lightning, Class of 2025 - A guard that has the ability to see the floor and get his teammates involved when the opportunity presents itself. Is able to distribute the ball when his teammates are open or are streaking to the basket. Is able to create for himself off the dribble and is known for driving to the basket and finishing efficiently.


Preston Fowler 6-7, Small Forward, Brewster Academy (NH), New Heights Lightning, Class of 2025 - A forward that has the ability to make his presence felt in the post in multiple ways. Is able to put the ball on the floor and is able to use his physicality in the post when it comes to going up for two. Has good hands, which aid in him obtaining rebounds and even blocking shots.


Meleek Thomas, 6-3, Shooting Guard, Overtime Elite, New Heights Lightning, Class of 2025 - A guard that is very crafty on the offensive end and is able to score in bunches. Has a nice shooting stroke from three-point range, which he is prone to using regardless of whether he is being guarded heavily or is free. Has a penchant for driving into the lane and is able to score with precision, even being able to take contact and getting to the free-throw line.


Mason Blackwood, 6-7, Forward, New Hampton School (NH), Albany City Rocks, Class of 2025 - A forward that is athletic and has plenty of length, which aids him on both ends of the court. Has a penchant for driving to the basket and finishing in transition. Is able to obtain rebounds and can get down court with plenty of quickness.


Keyshuan Tillery, 6-1, Point Guard, New Hampton School, Albany City Rocks, Class of 2025 - A guard that has a penchant for being a true floor general. Is able to see where his teammates are going or whether they’re open on the break. Has the ability to use his quickness to his advantage at all times, especially on the offensive end, when going to the basket to score.


Tahlan Pettway 6-2, Shooting Guard, St. Thomas More School, Albany City Rocks, Class of 2025 - A guard that has plenty of quickness and is able to create for himself offensively. Is able to drive to the basket and is a great finisher when going into the lane. Is able to distribute the ball to his teammates when they’re moving around the floor or being open.


Andreo Ash 6-8, Forward, Canterbury School, Albany City Rocks, Class of 2025 - A forward that is solid and is able to hold his own in the post. Is able to be a force in the paint, due to his strength and his ability to obtain rebounds and block shots. Is able to hold his own offensively, by making put backs and also putting the ball on the floor and driving to the basket.


Nasir Rodriguez 6-6, Shooting Guard, Northfield Mount Hermon School (MA), New York Rens, Class of 2025 - A guard that is very hard-working, skilled and driven. Has a very high-motor, as he’s always bringing plenty of energy when he’s playing. Has a penchant for shooting from the mid-range and from the corner. Has the ability to drive from the perimeter and is able to drive to the basket and finish efficiently.


Brandon Lee 6-4, Shooting Guard, The Patrick School (NJ), New York Rens, Class of 2025 - A guard that has a penchant for moving around the court and getting open on the perimeter. Has the ability to be a sniper from three-point range, as it is one of his strong points. Has the ability to drive to the basket and is a good finisher, as he is known to go up strong for a layup.


Keiner Asprilla 7-0, Forward, Don Bosco Preparatory High School (NJ), New York Rens, Class of 2026 - A forward that is a strong, dominant presence around the low post area and is known for making his presence felt around the basket. Has good hands, which aids in him obtaining rebounds and also is a great shot-blocker. Is known for putting the ball on the floor and can also shoot from about 15 to 20 feet away from the basket. Is also known for throwing down powerful dunks in the post area.


Keith McKnight 6-5, Shooting Guard, Hudson Catholic High School (NJ), PSA Cardinals, Class of 2025 - A guard that has a long wingspan & is able to be a force for his team on both ends of the floor. Is able to attack the glass for rebounds and is able to use his strength to outwork bigger players for the ball. Is a strong finisher when going to the basket, as he is known for going to the rim.


Darius Adams 6-4, Shooting Guard, La Lumiere School (IN), PSA Cardinals, Class of 2025 - A guard that is known for being a high-volume shooter and is known for taking over the game for his team. Has excellent IQ and is known for playing strong defense on his man. Is known for being a three-point sniper, especially when being left open outside the line.
