2024-25 The Masters School (CT) Player Profiles

The Master’s School is an independent, college-preparatory, non-denominational Christian day school enrolling children in preschool through post-graduate, located on a beautiful 76 acre, 10 building campus nestled in the woods atop a hill in West Simsbury, CT. about 18 miles from Hartford.
Its boys basketball program runs two high school aged teams. The top team competes in the NEPSAC Class AA, renown for its high level of college prep play. The team is head coached by Donorae Davis Davis is a 2003 graduate of the school, where he played point guard. He earned his B.S. in 2008 from the University of Connecticut with a major in Mechanical Engineering, and his M.B.A. in 2012 from Albertus Magnus College. Davis has 16 years of coaching experience at various levels, ranging from Class AAA Prep School Basketball to AAU/Travel Basketball. He has played and(or) coached with some of the greatest basketball minds in the area. Coach Davis places great emphasis on developing a player’s basketball IQ and mental capacity, attention to detail, accountability, and work ethic.

The college prospects in the program for the 2024-25 are as follows:
Justice Uhunmwuagho (2025) 6’3 guard - This Boston product possesses a strong, college-ready body that makes him a very intriguing prospect. With tight handles and an explosive first step, he’s a handful for defenders trying to prevent him from getting to the rim. He’s relentless attacking the basket, with the ability to finish through contact. With an improving jump shot and strong on-ball defense, Justice will be a name to watch this season as he takes on class AA in the NEPSAC.
Michael Singleton (2025) 6’2 guard – This New Haven, CT product comes to The Master’s School fresh off of leading his West Haven team to the Division 2 Championship game in the CIAC. The ultra smooth combo guard brings his High IQ and efficient style of play to the NEPSAC, where he looks to have a breakout season. Mike can score easily from all three levels, and he plays with a calm and confidence that is beyond his years. His long arms and sneaky athleticism will make him a menace defensively. 3.4 gpa
Andre Antonic (2025) 6’2 guard - Antonic comes to West Simsbury from Cologne, Germany. He brings with him that traditional Euro-style play that we’ve grown to love here in the US. An extremely high IQ and fundamental combo guard, Andre looks to bring his crafty game to the NEPSAC. With a strong build, tight handle, and knock down shooting ability, Andre will be a force to be reckoned with this season.
Jakeel Martin (2025) 5’11 point guard - Martin comes to TMS fresh off winning the Division 2 Championship with the CIAC powerhouse Windsor Warriors. A four year player for Hall of Fame coach Ken Smith, Jakeel possesses the tenacity and defensive characteristics that you would expect. Already a high percentage finisher in transition, Jakeel has worked very hard on expanding his shooting range this off-season. He will bring his championship pedigree to The Master’s School and help to lead a talented group this season in AA.
Robert Hall (2028) 6’5 guard - The lone returner from last season, Hall is looking to take a huge leap in year 2. After spending the spring and summer running with the New York Lightening on the EYBL circuit, Rob enters the year with a much improved skill set. Already a D1 level athlete, Rob has shown a tighter handle and consistent jump shot this fall. An intriguing prospect to watch in the NEPSAC for the next few years.
Enoch Cromartie (2029) 5’11 guard - Don’t let his age fool you. Cromartie has a game and confidence well beyond his years. A lead guard that comes to The Master’s School after a strong spring/summer with the New York Lightning, he looks to solidify his spot as a rising star in the NEPSAC. High IQ, tight handle, high percentage shooter, smart defender. Enoch should be on every coaches’ radar for years to come.
