2024-25 Greenwich Country Day School Player Profiles

Greenwich Country Day School is a co-educational, independent day school in Greenwich, CT 39 miles from New York City. The boys varsity basketball team is coached by former college head coach, Pat Scanlon, who also teaches history at the school. The program has been on a steady rise since he took over six years ago. Their local conference is the Fairchester Athletic Association, and they also compete across New England to land a possible postseason tournament bid in the college-bound player rich NEPSAC Class B.

Griffyn Flood (2025) 6’6 small forward - (Wesleyan University lacrosse commit) A tough and smart inside-out player. Excellent defender and rebounder. Flood can handle and pass the ball. A terrific leader and teammate.
Rowan Introzzi (2026) 6’5 small forward - Versatile, skilled forward. Excellent driver and finisher. Has gotten quicker and more athletic. Very good shooter off the catch and dribble. Very hard worker and a leader. Getting D1 and high D3 interest. 3.5 gpa
Mekai Brown (2027) 6’7 forward - Versatile, skilled forward. Excellent shooter off the catch or dribble. Terrific athlete who has gotten stronger and plays football. Very hard worker and great teammate.
Charles Branch (2026) 5’11 guard - A winner who gets every loose ball. Excellent on-ball defender and rebounder. Great cutter on offense and finishes well at rim. 3.5 gpa
Noah Williams (2026) 5’10 point guard - Transfer from Mt. St. Michael. Extremely quick. A playmaker for self and others. Excellent shooter. Very good on-ball defender. 3.5 gpa
Chandler Bligen (2026) 6’4 guard - Transfer guard from Earl Monroe. Lefty, who can handle and finish with both hands. Lockdown defender in multiple positions. Good mid-range game.
Lucas Laungayan (2026) 5’8 point guard - Laungayan has worked very hard and improved. Very good shooter, especially off the catch. Strength and quickness have improved. 3.7 gpa
Ells Wydra (2026) 6’0 guard - Shooter who has gotten bigger and stronger. Competes in all phases of the game - great cutter/screener. Good defender.
Vincent Maresca (2027) 5’11 guard - Maresca can really score it. Has gotten bigger/stronger which allows him to score more easily. Crafty and has a great mid-range/floater. 3.8 gpa
Nick Triolo (2027) 5’11 guard - Transfer from White Plains High. Tough, two-way guard. Can score it in a variety of ways. Very good on-ball defender.
Justin Ferry (2027) 6’4 swing - A versatile and athletic guard/forward. Competitor who can rebound very well. Excellent in transition. Good finisher at rim.
Eli Etra (2027) 5’9 point guard - An excellent shooter with range. Moves well off the ball and finds his spot. Has gotten bigger/stronger which will help his defense and ball-handling. 3.8 gpa
