Our Saviour Lutheran High School is a private, co-educational school located in Morris Park, Bronx.  Its high school was established in 1955.  In basketball, under coach Peter Wehye, they have created a tremendous college prep program.  This year they are running five teams. Wehye head coaches the top team, that competes in the Overtime Elite League with other nationally renown programs. He sets the values and culture for all five teams.

The OSL Regional team is again being coached by Trevor Reed. He is again being assisted by Caleb Staneck. Their team will again be competing in the AA Division of the Power 5 Conference, a New England Prep school league.

The team’s 2024-25 games schedule and results can be found by clicking here.

Their 2024-25 players are profiled below (click on their names to pull up their profiles).

Abdel Kerim (2025) 6’5 small forward - Kerim is the best shooter on the team. You cannot leave him open in any type of space, or he will hit the shot. Look for him to get many games with over 5 threes a game. College coaches looking for a prototypical 3 and D guy should reach out.

Mahdee McNair (2025) 6’3 guard - In from New Jersey, McNair is one of the best scorers on this team. He can score from all three levels and is someone Coach Reed depends on late in games. He also defends the perimeter at a high level as well.

AJ Solomon (2025) 6’2 guard - Some may recognize the name from Lincoln High school, Solomon just transferred in for a Post Grad year at OSL. Along with McNair, Solomon is the team’s other go-to scorer. He is a mid-range killer and gets to the basket at will. A true leader and one of the toughest kids on the court at all times.

Noah Smith (2025) 6’0 point guard - Another product of Lincoln High School, Smith is the best on ball defender this group has. He brings a level of toughness that other teams guards cannot handle. Super coachable. High gpa

Yendri Torres (2025) 6’4 small forward - As one of the four returners for OSL Regional, Torres is the best rebounder and arguably the best on ball defender for this squad. He finishes well around the basket and is a threat to hit the 3 ball. He will continue to get looks from college coaches.

Martinez Gregory (2026) 5’9 point guard - Coming in from Michigan, Martinez has the ability on any giving night to come off the bench and score 30. He truly has the ball on the string and makes reads that not many guards his age can make. Look for him to have a huge impact for OSL Regional.

David Jarecki (2026) 6’0 guard - One of the best shooters and high IQ guys on this squad. He can shoot it from anywhere and has the ability to get everyone involved, especially off of the pick and roll. He will continue to lead as one of the returners and grow as a player.

Jaylyn Simon (2026) 6’4 small forward - One of the four returners and the captain of this squad. Last year, Simon was labeled as the “Swiss Army knife” and that is still true this year. With an expanded leadership role look at Simon to be one of the best offensive rebounders and continue to make game winning plays.  3.8 gpa

Mouhamadou Samb (2026) 6’8 forward - As the 4th returner on this squad, he has the ability to change the game defensively. His length gives him the opportunity to block every shot and his quickness lets him play fast in transition and catch open lobs and dunks.

Immanuel March (2027) 5’11 point guard - One of the youngest on the team but also one of the best defenders this team has. His ability to apply pressure on defense will cause turnovers and a lot of easy buckets for OSL Regional.

Josue Manya (2028) 6’8 forward - The youngest in the group but the most intriguing prospect. He is very strong and finishes well around the basket. Also can block shots at an elite rate. Look for Manya to make an impact for this group and continue to grow as a player
