The Kennedy Catholic team competes in the Catholic High School Sports Association, B Division. Last year’s team finished the season with a 7-19 overall record but made a strong push towards the end of the year winning three of the last five games and advancing to the CHSAA Class B Semi-finals. This year’s team is looking to build off of the momentum of the end of last year and return a handful of players. Seven returning varsity players bring a bunch of experience. The key players are profiled below.

Sebastian Jackson (2026) 6’3 guard. Jackson is a smooth combo guard with a pure stroke and should be one of the best shooters in the league this year. He made the CHSAA “B” Division “ALL- League Team” both as a true freshman and as a sophomore, where he averaged over 20 points a game. 3.2 gpa

Michael Cunningham (2025) 6’7 small forward - Cunningham will be the X factor this year for the Gaels. Recovering from a knee injury, last year, Cunningham took major strides over the spring and summer with his health and overall game. He is a stretch 4 with the ability to pull defenders out to the 3 point line. He also does a good job of using his size and length to finish around the paint. 3.7 gpa

Anthony Mann (2025) 7’0 center - Mann is an improving and intriguing prospect for the Gaels this year standing at 7’0 tall with a 7’5 wingspan. While he still needs to develop his strength and finishing around the basket, he flashes potential with his shot blocking and shooting mechanics.

Devin Webb (2025) 6’5 wing - Webb will be a jack-of-all-trades player again this year for the Gaels. At 6’5 with long arms he is one of the more versatile players this year on the team, capable of defending both on the perimeter and interior. Still developing his outside shot, his bread and butter is slashing is way to the basket for two. 3.2 gpa

Se’nre Tuitt (2028) 5’6 point guard - Tuitt is a diminutive point that is mature beyond his grade. Running with the varsity, he will bring a different look to the Gaels this year with his ball handling, play making, and scoring abilities. A player to keep an eye on for the future. 3.7 gpa
