Daniel Hand High is a comprehensive public high school in Madison, CT located about 19 miles up the Long Island Sound coast from New Haven, CT. It serves approximately 830 students in grades 9 through 12. Its boys varsity basketball team competes in the Quinnipiac Division of the Southern Connecticut Conference. The team is coached by Jimmy Economopoulos. After staring atm Lyman Hall High (CT), Coach Eco moved on to play college basketball at NCAA Division III powerhouse, Albertus Magnus College.  While at Albertus, his teams won three Great Northeast Athletic Conference postseason championships and made three separate NCAA Tournament appearances. He is also the Director of Operations for 3x360 Sports, a leading FIBA 3 vs 3 basketball competition platform.

Thomas McCullough (2026) 5’11 point guard - McCullough started 24 of 25 games last year as a true sophomore.  He is an extremely quick guard with a good handle.  1.5 A/TO ratio last year. He is a willing and able passer.  Explosive getting to the rim with a quick first step.  Solid mid-range and pull up game.  Shot approximately 30% from 3 last year as a sophomore and has already shown steady improvement in that area heading into this season.  He is still working to gain weight and strength.  Utilizes quickness when applying on ball pressure.  Smart player that thinks the game.  Plays AAU with DTX Basketball. Strong gpa


Ezekial “Zeke” Williams (2027) 6’1 shooting guard - Williams came off the varsity bench last year as a freshman.  He hit multiple big shots in big games despite only spot minutes.  He is an above average outside shooter that can get hot in a hurry.  He shot 45% from 3 in 12 varsity contests.  Williams is still developing physically and on the defensive end. Plays AAU with the NY Rens. Strong gpa

Jonas Markovitz (2026) 6’1 shooting guard - Markovitz is a physically strong guard that can get to the rim and finish with creativity.  He has a great mid-range jump shot. He is a bit inconsistent from 3 but can knock it down when given space.  He is a willing passer that plays unselfish.  Solid on ball defender. Strong gpa
