Project Triple Threat (PTT) is a Connecticut’s grass roots basketball club, founded by Choate Rosemary Hall varsity coach, Drew Dawson.  With a number of programs to meet the needs of various ages and abilities including player development training, camps and clinics and club teams, PTT is recognized as one of the most credible programs. Since 2017 they have placed more than 70 players onto college programs and have had those players secure more than $7 million in scholarship offers. in the northeastern United States.

 

Their 2025 17u HGSL team plays in the Hoop Group Showcase League and is coached by Connecticut College Assistant Coach and PTT Director of Recruiting, Brett Zanardi. His roster is as below.

Brandon Burke Jr. (2025) 6’6 small forward, Suffield Academy (CT) - (Committed to D1 JUCO Salt Lake Community College) Burke has scholarship level athleticism. He is an excellent rebounder and off-the-ball shot blocker. He has a huge vertical leap. Burke is an improving scorer off pick and roll and pick and pop. He can impact the game in a variety of ways. 3.5 gpa


Jonathan Niv (2025) 6’4 small forward, Suffield Academy (CT) - (Colgate University commit) Explosive wing scorer with unlimited range. Excellent rebounder and improving playmaker. 2-time All-NEPSAC Class A performer. One of the best players in PTT program history.  4.0 gpa


Drew Dargati (2026) 6’3 guard, Northwest Catholic High (CT) - Dargati is one of the top all-around players in the CIAC for Class of 2026. He is a 3-level scorer, excellent positional size rebounder and an improving playmaker. He 20 points in CCC title game. High Academic D3 prospect, potential D2 scholarship down the road. 4.2 gpa.


London Garcia (2025) 6’4 small forward, East Haven High (CT) - Garcia has shown major improvement this spring. He is a jack-of-all-trades player who can score, rebound, pass and defend at a high-level. He is a great teammate, does whatever it takes to win. Was 1st-team All-SCC, 2nd in his league in scoring. Looking for a prep school option in 2026.


Colby Hurlock (2025) 6’0 guard, Hall High (CT) - Hurlock is the most improved player in the program over the year. He is improving as an on-ball creator, knockdown catch and shoot driller. He is a great teammate. Looking for a prep school or high academic D3 option in 2026. 3.7 gpa

 

David Forgione (2026) 5’10 point guard, Sheehan High (CT) - Forgione helped his team to a CIAC state championship berth in 2025. Swiss Army knife player who is lightning quick and will take on any defensive challenge. He is an improving shot-maker and playmaker. He is an excellent cutter who will give himself up to initiate offense. He is a scholarship-level track athlete and a D3 basketball prospect.

 

Miles Wurmfeld (2026) 6’0 guard, Kent School (CT) - Wurmfeld is looking to build off a strong junior season a Kent. He is an excellent on-ball defender when motivated, and he can make catch and shoot 3’s from anywhere. He is an unselfish player who moves the ball and doesn’t waste time or dribbles. High Academic D3 prospect for a much-improved Kent squad in 2025-26. 3.9 gpa

 

Malcolm Hunter (2025) 6’2 guard, Windham High (CT) - Hunter is an 1,200 pt scorer, excellent shooter, unselfish passer and player. He can guard both guard positions. He was 1st-team All-ECC, capping off an excellent career that began with a state championship as a freshman. Looking for a prep school or D3 option in 2026.


Josiah Sims (2026) 6’2 guard, Newington High (CT) - Sims is a double-double machine. One of the best rebounders for his size in CIAC history. He will likely finish his career with over 1,000 pts and 1,000 rebounds. Power 5-level football recruit. Outstanding 2-sport athlete and awesome person/teammate. Does whatever it takes to win, including all the dirty work.


Miles Spodick (2026) 6’3 small forward, Amity High (CT) - Spodick is a dedicated player who is always willing to be coached and improve. He rebounds at a high-level for his size. He is an unselfish player and an improving 3-pt shooter. High academic D# prospect. Still has a PG option as potential 2027. High gpa.

 

Aliaun Iscandari (2025) 6’3 guard, Choate Rosemary Hall (CT) - 2024-25 NEPSAC Class A Defensive Player of the Year. 2024-25 All NEPSAC Class A First Team. Iscandari is a freak athlete who can jump out of the gym. He is is a lefty who attacks the basket at will. He can get to his spot and rise up for 15-footers and is an improving 3-point shooter. Receiving interest from D1, D2 and high-academic D3 schools. 3.8 gpa


Jaryn Aguiar (2026) 6’3 guard, South Kent School (CT) - Aguiar is a dynamic lead guard with a beautiful stroke from deep. He is a pass-first, old-school PG who can also score in bunches when needed. He has a cool, calm demeanor when running a team under pressure. Receiving interest from low-major D1, scholarship D2 and high-academic D3s. He is looking for a new prep home in 2026.
