2025 DTX Red 17u Team College Prospects

DTX Basketball is a Connecticut based grass roots program that has over the years become a deep source of college prospects. The program is run by Dave Taylor, with assistance from college placement guru, Noel Roman. The program runs its practices out of the three court, InSports Center facility in Trumbull.
They run multiple high school aged teams. The following players will be on their 17u Red team that will compete on the Zero Gravity XL circuit this season. DTX Red’s Class of 2026 not only brings size and skill to the hardwood but also reflects strong academic achievement and character. These student-athletes embody the complete package and represent the bright future of Connecticut basketball.
#0 Thomas McCullough (2026) 5’10 guard, Daniel Hand High (CT), College major: Business t643724@gmail.com - McCullough is a crafty and quick guard with a knack for creating plays. Whether threading the needle to a teammate or attacking the paint himself, he plays with pace and confidence. He’s also a capable shooter off the catch or dribble, providing a reliable scoring option to any offense. 4.0 gpa
#2 Sean Wilson (2026) 6’2 guard, Trumbull High (CT), College major: Business seantheballer23@gmail.com - Wilson is a strong and athletic guard who can seamlessly switch between positions. He plays a physical style of basketball and is capable of posting up or leading the break in transition. As he continues to develop his jump shot, his frame and athleticism give him a high ceiling and the tools to compete at the next level. He’s a scholarship-level talent. 4.0 gpa
#3 Jaden Tuhaise (2026) 5’10 guard, Trumbull High (CT) Tuhaisejaden@gmail.com - Tuhaise is a dynamic point guard with elite passing instincts and court awareness. Tough and quick, he gets to the rim with ease and finishes through contact. On defense, his quick hands and anticipation lead to steals and disruption. With an evolving skill set, athleticism, and strong on-ball defense, Tuhaise has significant upside and next-level potential. 3.1 gpa
#4 Ryan Tully (2026) 6’4 guard Fairfield Warde High (CT), College major: Business rjtully81@icloud.com - Tully is a hardworking combo guard who brings a dangerous perimeter game. With deep range and a smooth shooting stroke, Ryan is a high-percentage shooter from beyond the arc. As defenders close out, he has the ability to drive into the lane and finish with either hand. His basketball IQ and scoring versatility make him a major offensive threat. 4.2 gpa
#7 Ryan Lamothe (2026) 6’0 guard, Trumbull High (CT), College major: Health Science rycando2008@gmail.com - Lamothe is a versatile player who can operate on the wing or at the guard spot. Extremely coachable and quick to adapt, Ryan continues to elevate his offensive game. With added range to his jumper, he’s now a legitimate threat from long distance. Frequently competing against older, more experienced players, he consistently rises to the challenge. He is a reliable point-forward option with a bright future. 3.8 gpa
#13 Joe Fitzpatrick (2026) 5’10 guard, Fairfield Warde High (CT), College major: Kinesiology joefitz101010@gmail.com - Fitzpatrick is a sharpshooting guard known for his three-point accuracy. Calm under pressure and capable of handling the ball against tight defense, Joe can hit jumpers off both the catch and the dribble while also creating opportunities for his teammates. His well-rounded offensive game adds serious depth to any backcourt rotation. 3.3 gpa

He excels on both ends of the floor. Defensively, he thrives as an on-ball defender thanks to his quick feet, physicality, and relentless effort. Offensively, he’s a dynamic facilitator and pass-first point guard with exceptional court vision. He reads pick-and-roll and dribble hand-off situations well, consistently setting up teammates in both half-court sets and transition. Ciminiello’s leadership and ability to run the offense make him a standout presence on the court. 3.7 gpa

A quick learner and highly coachable, he plays a tough brand of basketball and continues to grow into a complete player.
