2025 Real Scout Uncommitted Showcase Top Performers
On Saturday afternoon, April 12, we got to Adlai Stevenson Educational Campus for the Real Scout Uncommitted Showcase, which was an opportunity for many of the players from New York City and surrounding areas to compete in front of coaches from NCAA Division II and Division III schools, as well as junior colleges and prep schools.
Below are the standouts from the showcase.
Will Robinson (2025) 6-0, Point Guard, Mount Vernon High - A guard that has the ability to see the floor and control the tempo whenever he has the ball in his hands. Has the ability to distribute the ball to his teammates and set them up for passes. Likes to drive to the basket and is a solid finisher.
RJ Walker (2025) 6-0, Point Guard, Eagle Academy-Brooklyn - A guard that has plenty of quickness in his game and is a great distributor of the ball to his teammates. Has a nice quick release and has the ability to get his shot off efficiently. Has the ability to finish efficiently when he drives to the basket.
Jordan Morgan (2025) 5-8, Point Guard, Transit Tech High - A speedy guard that has the ability to be a great decision maker when he has the ball in his hands. Is able to create for himself off the dribble and get to the basket with ease. Knows when to distribute the ball to his teammates and when to score.
Joel Beard (2025) 6-4, Shooting Guard, Canarsie Educational Campus - A guard that has great size and mobility, but also has versatile skills when on the court. Is able to put the ball on the floor and muscle his way to the basket at will. Is able to obtain rebounds efficiently and then run down the floor in transition.
Jayden Robinson (2025) 6-6, Forward, Believe Prep Academy (SC) - A forward that has the ability to make his presence felt on the floor by using his physicality to hold his own in the post. Is able to use his footwork efficiently, when it comes to putting the ball on the floor and getting to the hole. Is able to obtain rebounds and outwork the opposition in the paint area.
Derik Charles (2025) 6-0, Shooting Guard, Brooklyn College Academy - A guard that is very crafty and is able to make his presence felt on the floor. Is able to drive efficiently and can get to the basket with ease. Has the ability to shoot from midrange and also from three-point range.
D’Andre Gibbs (2025) 6-2, Shooting Guard, Believe Prep Academy (SC) - A guard that is very shifty and can attack in transition when there’s an open lane. Has the ability to shoot from long range and can hurt a team’s zone defense when he is left open. Has the ability to get to the basket and is able to showcase his athleticism when going to the hole.
Devin Webb (2025) 6-5, Forward, John F. Kennedy Catholic High - A forward that is able to show off his versatility and can attack in transition. Is able to make smooth moves to the basket and can finish efficiently. Has a nice shooting touch from the perimeter and is always willing to take shots when the opportunity presents itself.
Michah Kittreles (2025) 6-7, Forward, Believe Prep Academy (SC) - A forward that has the ability to hold his own in the paint area and is prone to using his physicality when in the post. Is able to put the ball on the floor and has a penchant for going to the basket. Is able to muscle his way to the basket and is able to showcase his athleticism on both ends of the court.
Angelo Guzman (2025) 6-1, Point Guard, Believe Prep Academy (SC) - A guard that has plenty of quickness and has a penchant for getting down court with ease. Has plenty of athleticism when going to the basket and finishing at the rim. Has a penchant for distributing to the ball to his teammates and putting them in position to score.
Bryce Wejuli (2025) 6-8, Forward, Winchendon School (MA), Class of 2025 - A forward that has the ability to hold his own in the post area. Has a penchant for holding his own when it comes to rebounding and putting back misses from his teammates. Is able to put the ball on the floor and is known for driving to the basket and finishing efficiently.
