ProScholars Athletics is a nationally renown grass roots basketball program, based in New York City. Their main objective is to use team sports as platforms to not only showcase their student’s athletic gifts but to expose them to greater social and academic opportunities that ensure they can succeed at the collegiate level. In doing so, they aim to break this cycle of poverty by creating cohorts of student athletes that can flourish in institutions of higher learning, graduate debt free (or close to it). The basketball program has been directed since 2008 by author and coach Terrance “Munch” Williams, and their teams play under the name PSA Cardinals.

The 2025 PSA Cardinals EYBL 17u team is coached by Donovan Jones, and they compete in the Nike sponsored Elite Youth Basketball League. Nike EYBL is a well-known AAU basketball circuit featuring high school-age players.
